Exactly. Whilst I am obviously dissapointed we racked up a debt we couldnt afford to pay (at the time), it begs a bigger question as to what lessons LSV learnt from the previous 12 months with regards to this type of situation and it would appear non. Hardly a great way to run a business which is what the LSV is.

I think the word that is used is partner. It is the partners that share to varying degrees any profits made. At least thats how I remember it.

As a youngster, I attended many a game at Station Road - when Leigh were playing the Lions or Lancashire Cup Finals, or RL Cup Semi finals, or GB games. I remember being awe-struck at the size of the stadium and the hair-raising atmosphere. I really do dream of the day when someone like Swinton (or Leigh of course) can break the stranglehold of the top four or so clubs these days! Good luck Lions!

I couldn't give a monkeys 3 about Swinton. They used OUR ground and not paid for it. Salford also owed ££££££ yet a multimillionaire comes along pays mega bucks for players but doesn't have to pay what is owed to LSV and any other poor sods.

Our club has been in the same position before mate think about their loyal fans and think how you would feel if it was us and not them.

Any profits (unlikely I know) that the LSV company make we get a small share of. It galls me that two members of our own family think its ok to defraud local businesses. If they can't afford to play at the level they are trying to play at then they should rethink their business plans.

The petition you are signing is not to allow cashcow to put money into Swinton but it is to allow him to grab some more land in Salford for development of shops offices and restaurants. Is there a gaurantee he will build a stadium for them?

Basically I see his offer as 'I might help you but only if you write to the council to allow me to buy some more land'

He is a businessman not a benefactor. I appreciate we have been in this position in the past which means we were trying to achieve something unrealistic using unrealistic business plans. Agecroft was unrealistic as the fans have now been told there isn't enough land for a small stadium, surely they knew that years ago. They would be better off with the Supporters trust option IMO. Koucashs own words a month or two ago were they would be a feeder club for Salford if he decided to go ahead with it.

All clubs should run as businesses that way they would find their own level and grow from their.

Would you chuck in a collection bucket to save HMV or Marks & Spencers? Maybe we should ask a Bradford fan or two.

I do not approve of dishonesty obviously and I do not know Koucash's motives ulterior or not and' just for the record Salfords last BOD who ran up the biggest debt at the LSV did not then have Mr Koucash on it.

I know he has done what he promised for Salford Reds so I presume he will do the same for Swinton Lions.

Surely, we have to do whatever we can, no matter how small or insignificant, to assist Swinton's =#FF0000supporters, whatever we think about their club/policies/potential owners?

If the good doctor paid Swintons HMRC bill before the winding up hearing in January then I might believe his intentions more. I would not want to see Swinton disappear either but neither will I sanction the creation of a feeder club and I don't think Swinton fans really want that either. The Supporters Trust it seems are ready and waiting in the wings. Surely that would be a better option to the Swinton fans. Yes it would be hard but it would restore the clubs identity. Especially after the farce that was the Wire 10 players and a coach DC agreement. Yes I did note that Mr Chambers was back at Wire.
