Very close game. Batley are well drilled under Harrison and more importantly have had a better bulid up to this game. They haven't had to travel across Europe!! Leigh by 6.

amazing how a few wins all of a sudden make you invincible and that you will hammer any team that dare walk on to the same pitch as you, basil's starting to rub off on the fans. Some of the expected scores quoted on here against a well drilled, big Batley side are quite suprising and have a bit of the 'Calland' attitude of last season about them, and look what happened to him....left with egg on his face.
I have seen you twice and your playing well and have stayed injury free, but lets not forget you got turned over by York as well, when you obviously thought you just had to get on the coach to win. I certainly would not have the same attitude with Batley.
Make no mistake Batley are no mugs, they should be at full strength apart from the injured fromer Leeds scrum half Moore but have an able replacement in Giants Dual registered player Kyle Wood. Not sure if thre other Dual Reg player will make it Josh Griffin, who is a monster of a centre and will give Nanyn sleepless nights if he plays.
Should be a good game though and if both sides play to their potential it could be a close one....

But none of the Duals went to Toulouse and they did not play for their contracted clubs Good Friday.

Having played Fax Sunday, Toulouse Friday & then Batley this Monday that may take it's tole on us but I believe we are the better side than Batley on the day although they will be tough side to play. It may be a close game but as long as our hectic schedule hasn't taken too much out of our players I think we can win this one come on Leythers
