Can't see Batley getting in they've gone on the slide since they won the NR cup.

To be fair, three of their four defeats were against Halifax (by eight points), Fev (by eight points) and in-form Dewsbury after a week on the lash - they have beaten Barrow and bounced Keighley since winning the Northern Rail so certainly shouldn't be underestimated.

Still don't think they'll make it as I'd expect Sheffield to get at least a bonus point off us.

We sold 9000 tickets for yesterdays game but 7000 could not get there because of the roadworks on St Helens Road.

I can`t comment on the Toulouse players desire to be elsewhere, I`ll bow to your superior knowledge on that particular subject. However we did win and i`ll take that option over a defeat any day of the week.

Instead of criticising 'Fax, I think we should all be applauding them - had heard that they were planning on announcing 4,500+ regardless of who was turning up. Well done to them for making a stand on behalf of all the clubs in our league and poking a massive hole in to the franchising farce
