You will need to get rid of your highest paid players to have a chance of staying afloat

Think Pete Mata'utia, Bodene Thompson, Jordan Thompson etc will all be leaving

Have to be realistic, and even if DB were to stay, he would have to triple the money he puts in to keep this squad. We may even see one or two leave this week, as teams in the qualifiers look to strengthen.

I'd be very surprised if Matautia, either Thompson, Crooks, Hood, Hall or Hansen are still here, as you'd imagine there would be clubs that would take them. I hope there's clubs out there that will take Hutchison and Acton. Mason and Walne aren't our players anyway, and Mortimer is on a 1 year deal (I think)

Can we keep players like Ricky Baily, Blagbrough, Gregson, Dezaria, Bergal, Dawson, Owens, Reynolds and build a team around them? One thing this season has highlighted is that we've been too quick to discard young players in the past, look at Bullock and Hankinson this year. While there are young half backs around SL academies with more of a rugby brain than we've had on the pitch. Maybe there's someone we can get in on a season loan.

If we can have a team that we can see is developing, whilst not costing more than all but one other Championship squad, a decent number of fans will get behind them. May not be 3.5k average, but still be top 2 or 3 for crowds next season. This year's team was very good between Batley away in the cup and the summer bash, but served up some dross either side of that.

KP has done enough to keep the job if he wants it, imo. But he should also be given the chance to choose his own staff. And can't imagine KC being so prominent in player recruitment from now on.

the gameplan is fairly simple , wear down your opposition , they are part time RL players , retain the ball , force them to defend and they will collapse
In our last 2 matches when the requirement was to build up our points differential , did we once form a scrum to stop the clock ? the longer you have to score points the more points you can score

we also display a complete lack of imagination at times , just once yesterday did we ' load ' one side at a scrum , Swinton did notice but still left themselves a man ' down ' on the open side , we shifted the ball quickly , and scored

Unfortunately, the players weren't able to follow this game plan. Poor attitude in defence since Blackpool and poor last tackle plays. How many times have our pivots been caught in possession on the last tackle? KP has given these players freedom to play what they see in attack, unfortunately there are no rugby brains on the pitch.

KP has done well to keep us in contention, cannot forget we've had to win at Fev, London, Toulouse and at home to Fax to keep the season alive. Unfortunately, he's been given an impossible job. If he was able to recruit a half back early in the season, we'd be top 2.

I know it is a season too late but I would keep Pelissier, a player who is quick, has good hands and can play ‘off the cuff”. It is the last of his attributes that saw him surplus to requirements. We don’t do flair.

I know it's a long shot but what happens if London and fev lose and we finish 4th but we've got rid of players

Then we rebuild from a better position. If we are in a position where we can get some of these bigger contracts for next year off our bill, then it would be irresponsible to refuse, because London might lose to Barrow.

I suspect the post from PK was hoping to stir a negative response, however I'd be quite relieved to see some big earners go this season. We have to handle this better than Bradford did (who announced the likes of Lachlan Burr before going into administration), and prepare for next year as best we can.

Still don't think Reynolds is SL quality, if Warrington sign him, I'd be very surprised.

Wish we'd have kept Lachlan , always did well for us IMO , moreso when we had Gregg backing him up through the middle , something we havent seen virtually all season

Leigh train with and against Warrington a lot so they must of seen something in him that they like if true

Yes, he got better as the season went on, doing big minutes towards the end of the season. Not sure what his circumstances were, whether he wanted to stay. Gregg was the big one that we missed. We don't actually have a full back in the squad, Matautia being the best at full back out of the backs we have. Still think he's better at centre though.

Well it wont be his kicking game because it's useless,we have the worst kicking game in all rugby and that includes amateur
