London & Halifax both lose - we are in top 4

London lose & Fax draw - we are in top 4

London & Halifax both win - we will not be in top 4

London draw & Fax win - we will not be in top 4

London win & Fax lose - we will need either Featherstone to drop at least a point in last game, or we claw back the points difference (currently 97)

London win & Fax draw - we will need either Featherstone to drop at least a point in last game, or we claw back the points difference (currently 97)

We need Toulouse to win then if London or fev win we've still a chance because if London win fev will drop points of their 97 and we will knock points of the 97 also if we win,then they lose in Toronto which will also take points off the 97 and we win I think the 97 points difference will be gone

I think we might need a couple of snookers as well.

Im a betting man, and love a Punt, but honestly I wouldn't bet on either game tomorrow,I do fancy Toulouse and Fev to win though,my tipping is terrible though.

Of course, the other 'variable' is that we have to win too!

Results will go against us, can't see Fax losing at home nor Fev v London, after the euphoria of the squad that had been put together at no little expense, collectivley they have been abysmal, we are 6th and deservedly should be.
The players - with few exceptions - should take a good hard long look in the mirror and ask the guy looking back at them if they have been honest with themselves, the club and the fans, this team at this stage of the season should not be be reliant on others to shape what could very well be the future of our club.

Whatever the outcome of today's very influential games are, our GREAT Club will survive,personally I think Derek will stay even if we don't make the Top 4 ,and roll again next season,if he doesn't someone else will step into his shoes ,maybe not with the same Financial clout but still ready to take the Wheel.
As fans Leythers are up there with the best,and wouldn't be reliant on others to shape the Club,in the past we have been in far worse positions,and come through,I'm not confident about today's games, but will be there this afternoon cheering the boys on.

Our Club is to good to go to the wall, and a lot of Leythers care about it.

Exactly - we are where we deserve to be. The league table doesn't lie, at this stage of the season. And yet, we have won 13 of our last 15 league games - which is almost table topping form! Just think where we might have been, if we had got it right, at the beginning of the season!

I go into today's matches, hoping for the right results, but fearing that we won't get any of them! Fingers crossed!!

Halifax and London have won

Fax have Rochadale Bronco Barrow last game and Leigh 7 weeks of nothing games!!

Yep 7 weeks of nothing and well deserved,
I have watched Leigh for over 50 years and seen some very poor teams turn out for our club in that time, but I cannot ever recall a team with less heart and conviction than this shambles.
If I said they have been poor that would be a compliment, they have been far far worse than that.

Sadly paying average aussies over the odds seems to go one of 2 ways. Sadly for you it hasn't come off, and London are where we are due to similar approaches in the past.

The clubs at a crossroads.

The team that turned out today and the attitude they showed would have got battered in the Middle 8s.
A team in the bottom two ran us ragged for a spell after half time because our tackling was casual and sub standard.

We urgently need a halfback, with good hands, a varied kicking game and the ability to make decisions. We need a fullback who is a capable last line of defence and we need some good hungry forwards rather than wage earning plodders.

Well Peter I have seen that guy you mention, he looks a lot like Josh Drinkwater even has the same name, but that is where the similarity stops, he plays far far better than the Josh Drinkwater that Leigh employed, could it be he is surrounded by better player's?
