Sounds like Leigh knew about it..... I don't think he will play if Salford have a contract with him for the following reasons:

- Legal action against Leigh which will cost them money they don't have
- Potential ban for Hock?
- Potential points deduction for Leigh?
- Disqualification from the CC?

Think Beaumont is trying to spice things up before the game, too add to the occasion which is good psychological tactics. Shows that Leigh is still amateurish in some parts of its organisation (due diligence).....

Gareth Hock has got to play, if only to save Derek Beaumont the embarrassment after he has stated such numerous times on Twitter. He obviously feels it is worth the expense of the legal costs and subsequent damages Koukash will claim.

All very pathetic, whether Leigh knew about it or not you can be rest assured Hock certainly did as his representatives would never in a million years have let him sign an agreement without first reviewing it and giving him the go-ahead. This would have been an issue regardless of which club Hock ended up signing for. Unfortunately it sounds like typical Hock f*ck up.

To be honest, I don't think Hock is fit enough for this game but regardless it needs sorting as Salford could still end up in the middle 8's.

Unless Marwan is lying....... But he said its in black and white, which can only mean a contract. Therefore Leigh / Hock would be breaking the contract if this is true.

Beaumont said he knows nothing about it, which probably means he doesn't know anything about the legalities from it. He'll be a numpty to play him, knowing the contractual issues (if true)........ unless he can cough up the money to take on a billionaire lol!

Agreed. If he's deemed not fit enough to play SL opposition, then leave him out but confirm if we're still disputing the clause ahead of any other games we may play each other in this season or next.

Just try listening. The only person who could suffer financially and from any legal action is Gareth Hock. The Compromise Agreement is between Gareth and Salford and was drawn up and signed by both parties before he signed for Leigh. The only way Leigh might suffer at the moment is if Derek and Marwan don't back off each other on social media.

The only two people who have seen the agreement,as Marwan states in "Black and White" is Marwan and Gaz. How could Leigh know that agreement existed,when also attached is a clause stating he can't tell his future employers about the agreement!

And if thats the case which Derek states in the interview with sky,then the agreement is already breached.
