I notice Wigan TV are announcing exclusive coverage of our game on Sunday, they obviously think that Little Leigh haven't got their own Internet TV channel, well wake up boys Leigh Centurions TV may be the new boys on the block but we are there up and running.
Leigh Centurions TV have coverage of every Leigh Centurions TV game and starting this year we will be bringing you every under 20's game that we can cover - because of lack of facilities at some venues we can't cover them all - in glorious HD, still only £3.50 per month or £32 per year so stuff that in your pies and eat em



You may be trying a live broadcast guys but we will have the best commentators, Dave Parkinson, Nathan Lawrenson and Joe Wood.

What we do need however is a regular commentator for the under 20's games, unfortunately with a lot of the games being midweek our Dave cant commit to commentating on them due to his hospital Radio commitments, so if any one wants to try his/her hand (should that be voice?) then contact me on the e mail address below (in my sig). There will also be opportunities to commentate or summariser on some 1st team games, if anyone knows anybody who doesn't come on this forum who may be interested in this volunteer position then please pass on the information.

Yes I think LeighLife are doing radio coverage Nozzy.

Pie TV are showing the game live.

So therefore they do indeed have exclusive live coverage of the match through Wigan TV as claimed.

I hope it does not deter the more tight fisted of pie eaters from buying a match ticket.

It will do however the main reason is the fact that you are charging more for the Wigan game than you are for the Warrington game. I for one will now be giving my money to Wigan tv

Simple really. Wigan game is supposed to be a first team game. Wire game is fringe players/U20's

There have been technical issues which may make live streaming from LSV difficult

Bloody hell Fred, pick your toys back up. They are showing the game live, fair play to them for that, they are only advertising their product. Why the full scale attack on them?

If they are on the gantry who do you think will be advising them and making them welcome.

Are we charging our 'friends' for broadcasting live as there are some supporters who intend to watch on TV instead if attending the game.

I wouldn't think so but they will probably have to bring their own internet access (dongle?) as the LSV being a local government internet site doesn't allow access to certain websites and if they are using the one they were last year I very much doubt it will allow it, but like I said I will do my best to assist as I do with every visitor to the gantry.

Let's not worry about the Wigan fans

Not sure I will be at the game on Sunday as I have come down with a heavy cold. It takes a lot longer to shift at my age so cheers for letting us all know about this Fred. For less than a fiver I can pour myself a hot toddy and watch us v their youngsters live in my living room.

I'd hold on to your brass Harold until you know if they can physically broadcast they may not be able to get past the LSV firewall, put it on LC TV instead and watch the game on Tuesday instead, and they are supposed to be sending a fair team not just the youngsters.

If 10% of Wigan fans turn up then we have 1200 away fans which will probably be our biggest away following
If we can't sell 2500 then we are dead as a town for RL
3700 will probably be our biggest league gate
I tried to get corporate but it was sold out, damned carolis everywhere. The legends will be full and the niece who is 15 asked if I was going as she was with her mates, first time for years and first time ever on her own
I hope if we get on top we turn the screw, but I think we have two matched sides that will create a great game and can't wait

Lol far from it Fred, but if there's one thing I won't have questioned is my loyalty to the team I've supported since being a kid. The ironic thing is, come lunchtime I'll be getting itchy feet and will probably go anyway. That's the problem with rugby league....... It's too bloody addictive
