Funnily enough I was just talking to my Dad about him tonight, about how well he was doing and whether any SL clubs would come after him so I'm really glad he's signed an extension. I think he's done a great job up to now.

If i remember rightly at the end of last season theres was a few on here who wanted to hang,draw and quarter him cos he never lifted a trophy with the squad he had.

I would have kept the powder dry till September but understand why they have made the call.
Paul has grown these past 12 months, but this year will show by how much. Powell and Aston still own him so it will be interesting if he has learned, from last year and the other week, how to get out of their pockets.

Well my view is I think PR deserves his contract.

He recruits well and has an amazing loyalty from our players despite his restricted budget.

Sheffield are performing well under Aston' no doubt about it' however had we had not had an injury hit squad last season we would have beaten them in the play offs imo.

Featherstone currently have a great side for the Championship. Last 2 or 3 seasons though they have outplayed us and'again imo' when we have played them recently not all our players have played to the limit of their abilities.


Last season in the playoffs we started incredibly well but had an injury hit squad and could not maintain the momentum.

Our game against them on June 2 should be worth attending for those who are still interested but have decided to pick and choose their home games

Without regular attendees there is only one way our club will go.

I think this is the day both us and Swinton were down to be at home on same day so if we decide to move our game it HAS TO BE SAT AT 6.30 KO not FRI night or we will struggle to get above 1600 on !
