| As with all Harrison teams they will be very difficult to breakdown. Our pack will be the key. We can not afford any more injuries in the forwards.

| The real test begins here. It's easier to keep up the momentum in games as intense as recent weeks and the NRC game at the Mount was a pretty bruising encounter.

| Robbie H-P reckons that it's the games in the fortnight following the Easter programme that are the tough ones - but at least Batley had to play twice over Easter too.

| Generally Batley have always tended to put a spoke in our wheels and bring us down to earth with a bump.
I actually included this fixture in our toughest start for years as it really is a difficult match and is no easier than Fev away or Widnes at home in my book.
Whilst not wanting to belittle any teams (every game is a tough one in this competitive wide open league) if we can win our next 2 home games then people will be seriously talking about this Leigh team as a very special one.

| Looking at our first 6 games , i said if we win 4out of 6 ,we will win the League , we have won 5 and drawn 1 , in my oppinion we will win the League ,the Bullfrogs are a spoiling side , on a dry pitch ,playing flowing rugby ,a Leigh win by 20.

| Agree, with a ref who stops the spoiling we should be too good for Batley but they are dangerous and must not be underestimated

| looking forward to the game on Sunday as I have every game due to the fantastic performances this super talented leigh side has been putting in. But Batley are a good side and will take some beating but if the weather is good I think we should be able to beat them with the pace we have on the wings to take advantage of the forwards' hard work and good yardage, I predict a 36-10 win

| I think the ref did alright, in a very difficult, hectic game, and he certanly had an excellent game in the first meeting with Widnes.
I'll settle for him reffing us any time. (until we lose with him in charge, of course - then I'll probably agree with some of the fev fans! )

| Thought he was a bit harsh in sending off the Dewsbury player in the match with Batley ,but i must say the Fev fans have to be the most whinging set of supporters going with the constant forwaaaaaard

We didn't even get a penalty, although Hardman had to hobble away.

| Completing the 6 when we have the ball, and getting into their runners early when we don't, will be the key.
Had we completed more of our sets against Fev, and put in the pressure grubber kicks on the last when we did, especially in the first half, we would have been virtually out of sight against them by half time. We just need to be patient with the ball in hand and build the pressure with error free simple attacking. We have the weapons to score but we have to accept we cannot and do not need to do it on every set of six.
If we are patient with the ball and can then put them on their own line for most of their first tackle possessions, then we have too much pace in the backs and too much strength in the forwards for them to go the full length.

| Although I agree in the main and said the same yesterday, "we don't have to score in every set, sometimes we just need to build the pressure".
But we can't ask for entertaining, free flowing rugby without accepting that sometimes we're going to turn the ball over in our own half, it's the risk you take. And long may it continue.

I'll be happy for Basil and the coaching staff to decide how we play , as long as it involves us playing expansively when things open up at the end of each half

There will be a time when that is appropriate , hopefully in the last ' 10 ' either against Les Cats , or in a final , will we want Stuart throwing a ' speculator pass twenty yards out from our line then ?

Actually, in Wayne Rettie, Alex Brown, Daley Williams and Jonny Campbell, (yes, he's back with them) one thing that Batley do possess, is pace in the threequarters. Two of those guys gave us trouble last season, and the other two are capable of doing so.

Someone else noticed that, then. Came in as the tackle was completed and got the Leigh player in the head, with both knees. Thought I'd imagined it!

In McGilvery and Evans I think we have the pace edge now.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want us to get too boring and play total percentage rugby, but we do need to settle a little. The first half against Fev we turned the ball over way too much. If we complete more sets of six we will score more tries. Don't think that will be boring at all

| Looking forward to my first trip to LSV on Sunday.
Think your guys will have too much tbh, been v.impressed with the 3 Leigh games i've seen so far.
Doesnt help that we have a couple of key players out either, but if we can get a Bonus Point it would go down as a pretty good result, with this, along with Fev away being what i'd class as the hardest 2 games of the season.
See you Sunday.
