Tonights poker come on down, should be a great nite, numbers growing week by week, so a decent pot to win.

I will second that ,its a good night ,the numbers are growing ,but we need more players ,last week was won by new players,come along give it a go .

Our Rich is back and one newbie tonight with us......but Brad is sick, still means Ive a better chance of winning

Another good night ,again a good amount of entries ,thanks to all who played what makes me think is if the people who have played in the past turned up we would have easy 25 entries, that would be great ,last night we were missing around 4-5 regulars if they had played it would have been very good.

Congrats to Adele last nights winner ,it seems the Ladies are getting better each week,they were talking about Girl Power ,cmon lads lets show em we to can play

Frank B made an early exit again, i was chip leader for a while ,but was knocked out by my OWN daughter , girl power again, next week is our Christmas Poker Night ,we are having drinks prizes as well as the CASH POT ,so CMON come down ,have a good night a chat about the Rugby ,cheap drinks ,and maybe win either a few quid , or some drinks for christmas.

Its been great learning to play Poker, I never thought I'd take to it and we always have a good night, everyone is made welcome and new people are made to feel welcome, they must be because they come back!!!!, and we help them whilst they are learning.

Lynda its suprising how many people who have never played have taken to it, i think if you have a Competetive nature you would enjoy Poker,iknow as you do ALL our players have a good night and enjoy the game,i feel a few more new faces would really set us up , but im happy at the moment.

Been in a Salford bookstore yesterday ,they are selling Teach Yourself Poker books by someone called Frank Blackburn,apparently this years best seller

I have read a lot of his work and he astonishes me how good he is.

Nice fellow too' shy 'unassuming quite handsome very modest as well. A real stocking filler for those wishing to improve their game.

As Lynda said ,it was a poor turn out last night ,considering it was the Christmas game and all the Booze as well as cash prizes, just put it down to the bad weather,still on a personal point it was good ,as i shared the First prize money with Adele,and won a few bottles of booze as well ,so it was OK for me
