Classic Millward this, releasing overpaid players replacing them with hungry youngsters with potential and pedigree. I would guess the player budget has gone down and the squad will improve.

Am I the only one who was wary about getting so many DC players in as 'starting' players?

Dual Registered Players will be the downfall of this league in my opinion, Halifax have just got one and not happy with it, Its not doing the club anygood other than keeping costs down, Hardly developing your own players and youth as Millward has been banging on about is it. Just giving SL youth game time.

I'm more worried about us being left with a huge hole in the side when they're recalled by their parent clubs - that was certainly a problem for us last year.

Well that as well, I really can't do with the Dual Registered players its no good for Championship at all, I suppose what you need to do this year if getting 4 again is get them from different teams rather than 3 from the same team, that way the chances of all of them being recalled will be slim.

Rumour is though it's the same as last season, 3 from Wire one from Saints.

Oh dear !, That did you the world of good last year. Millward was bangin on about us paying high wages for Ageing Aussies when he had Robbie Paul, Ricky Bibey and Stuart Donlan all on good contracts and 4 dual registered super league players and still didn't come up with the goods. You would have thought he would have learnt this year. Not to Mention one of the Aussies has gone to SuperLeague and was awesome for last 2 years, the Other Branno was also awesome that most clubs are after.

Faxhali surely the 3 from wire worked better for them as wire would of needed 4/5 injuries to pull them back which is more unlikely then 3 separate teams having 1/2 injuries each? Them all essentially being back towers too!

The difference this year is that we have promoted 4 juniors from our Academy (Reserves) to first grade, I am hopeful 2 of whom will be in the 17 most weeks.
We are light in the halves but things look good.

We could always report Fax to the Monopolies Commission as they seem to sign up every half that comes available....but its ok, they are all on pay for play only!!

.....good prospect 4 future.....dont think any of our 1st team forwards have all these attributes.........give him a chance
