Haven away to win the league. Hull in the cup 1/4 final, the year we lost to Saints in the semi. Fev away when we hammered them and the Keighley turn round game. Plus the Wire away last game of the season to stop up under Billy Benyon and the year we beat Widnes away in the cup, when they were top of the first division and we were top of the second.

Saints away in super league. The team got beat but our lads tried their guts out, the james taylor quartet took out cunningham, gardner and someone else with his crunchers! The saints fans clapped the leigh players off at the end.

Hence the reason why I mentioned it !!!! Not many posters on this forum have ever seen a Leyth side stuff Wigan !!

mine were as well but I saw the thread as a question nand put my two as a pointer that not all the best games were away and not all recently, some of the home wins in the 80's were awsome for those of mus mature enough (cough cough) to remember
