| I've tried to be understanding through the settling in period but today is the final straw for me with this shower.
They are incompetant and are seriously spoiling the match day experience.
I'm normally in the North Stand but the service in the West Stand hospitaility zone last season was just as ropey. At the last game the lager pump went, today they ran out, they then found some more but there wasnt enough people to serve it. Hot food was sparce or non existant. I've been to stadia in 3rd rate European countries and seen better standards of catering for a fraction of the cost.
Throughout last season it was consistantly understaffed and overpriced. This season has got worse. Every time I go there is a queue of at least 5 minutes which might not sound long but when you want a drink and then back to the game you dont want to be queing behind 20 other people to start with. Solution - GET MORE STAFF AND SELL MORE BEER
At half time I might as well write off 10 minutes of either the first or second half. This is with 1400 people on.
Every week they either run out, something stops working, or there isnt enough staff.
I'm not having a go at the poor kids behind the counter earing tuppence an hour, it's the overpriced rubbish and tenbob service provided and managed by folk who are inept and cannot see how much custom they are losing.

| What a farce the catering side is, I was in the North Stand just before half time when,
what can only be described as a schoolboy in a suit came out and put up some printed A4
sheets with Q Here printed on, honestly the bars are a joke, they either have a problem with
the pumps or god forbid more than 3 people in a queue and it becomes a complete stand still,
the standard of the beer is atrocious and I wouldn't want to try the food to be able to comment
on it, I have tried to be patient about this but obviously something needs to be done, I mean £3
for flat turgid lager is a ripoff, and don't get me started about the Barrow game when the bar in
the north stand did't even have a working lager pump. Joke, this is not aimed at the club in any way
as I know they have no control over these things, something needs to be done, I just hope we don't
get a big team in the next round as there is no way they could could cope. Rant Over!!!!!!

At least they do have a price list..................the chioce to buy or not to buy is YOURS....................no one is forcing you !
One day (hopefully) as with a lot of other "issues" at the LSV the penny will drop !

| I refer to my post from previous week after the Barrow match, (and all other games!!!) my experience of catering at LSV is poor - bad service - bad ale - expensive - and can only assume visiting fans are having pretty much the same experience and going away from the LSV with a "bad taste in the mouth" and not just from the food !!

To me all that's 'food' related when you previously said visiting fans were leaving LSV with a bad taste not just from food, I thought there was other issues.

| Sorry Glow for any confusion, am sure any away fans enjoy the experience and quality that a new ground the likes of LSV offer, unfortunatley the catering within the stands at LSV, at the moment leave a lot to be desired, Iam not havin a go at LSV, the point trying to make the catering company running this need to look at the issues and resolve them accordingly, gone on for far too long.

| No need to apologise, just interested to hear other fans opinions of their LSV experience, the problem with food is LSV like almost everyone else these days will sell the outlets to the highest bidder, and its then up to them how they sell their products.
Next time you visit try Leigh East you’ll get yourself some food and a beer at a more reasonable price, or even the hotel both are on site.

I asked the same and was told he was a 'supervisor' though what he was Supervising I'm not sure.
The LSV Supervisor (steward) in fairness went out of his way to resolve the problem especially as people were wanting to use the West Stand kiosk instead because there was no hot food or lager. Top marks to him. I still think there are far too many of them but also know there are rules for the numbers required for the Safety Certificate etc, but this bloke was professional and polite.
