My eleven year old son was shouting when he kept only giving half the info at interchanges. Give the lad a chance. I would be more worried about the quality of the PA when the volume is increased.

I didnt go yesterday, but I know the announcer he's a mate of mine. He's a dj on key 103 and is the matchday announcer for both Warrington Wolves and Liverpool fc so I wouldnt have thought he was that bad. But then again I didnt make it yesterday so Im not really able to comment on whether he was good or bad.

maybe he didn't know most of our players so figured why annouce one Leigh player & not announce another player. Either way he should be sacked he should of done his home work he was a complete waste of time

Hang on, I think there are two separate people being discussed here; the 'pitchside announcer' was Sean Hodgkiss of Parky fame, wasn't it? And I don't think he was doing the 'PA' announcements, was he?

Matts spot on.

Sean did the half-time draw and interchanges, the wire PA dude did the rest.

He was awful, he couldn't even manage to say 'sponsored by' it was 'Lisa no1 stuart Donlan', it was embarrasing.

I also thought because we were losing by so much we were allowed to have more players by the way he was only saying who was being brought on and no-one going off

He was GARBAGE and i've never heard him at warrington.
He spoke too quickly half the time, or that was possibly me not being able to understand your backwards accent.

If he's new you've got to give him a bit of time, poor though

He was poor, very poor. He cant ever have had a michrophone in his hand before. His rugby knowledge wasn't great, he announced that Mathers had scored in the first half when it was actually Myler, which makes me doubt he was from Warrington.

He announced a minutes silence - for who ? Don't know, he was so distorted I doubt anyone knew.
