In my book if you think of rugby league and Wembley you think of AJ. I know Shaun Edwards has won more but look at the great team he was playing in. No one sums up the Wembley spirit more than Alex Murphy.

Like I said, could be age-related. My first memory of a Challenge Cup final was [ithat[/i Offiah try against Leeds, even us Leythers have to admit that was a real touch of class.

Well he was playing for GB at 17yrs old.
As for coaching - maybe different style to modern day but who else could have brought a Challenge Cup & League Champions to Leigh, together with other cup successes. Also did really well at Wire. Been a personality in the game for years - probably one of the most well known.
Don't know much about Lance Todd apart from having a trophy namwed after him and Don Fox is only remembered for missing a goal kick
