If you can get the deal confirmed and announced ASAP it'd be great to have Basil & Robbie all over your publicity for next season.

Assuming you can stay up this year you might begin to attract some of the crowds that your stadium, and the club, deserves.

I'd have liked someone a little younger to fill one of the half back positions if I'm honest but the guy has obviously looked after himself and he is a class act.

He's been coming off the bench and covering the hooking role this season

He talks alot of , but so do other pundits, but in all honesty, a very good signing for the club.

Sure he can get Clare Balding doing her bit to plug the club on TV whenever possible too! Still a decent player with a very good rugby brain. Will defo still do a job and well... it's certainly not a bad signing eh.

hopefully the young players wll take notice of robbie and listen to him, about how to play rugby and look after yourself. he will be good to have around the club with Basil in terms of tactics etc

both players are good Bibey would be a ex signing Kear doesnt sign rubbish and Ricky is no exception good hands fine defensively and plays the ball fast would be a really good signing that !!!

Robbie Paul if true is a great signing both on and off the field for many reasons.

Duffy I'd have back as he is good at this level but I was secretly hoping for better.

Bibey is a big lad who can hurt teams with go forward but can give penalties away. Millward will get the best out of him. Good signing if true.

Get over it. Move on! The problem is that with clubs that [size=200deserve[/size a place in superleague we would need 54 weeks in a year

I actually am on record as saying we DIDN'T deserve a place in SL, nor do we currently. I do not 'crave SL rugby' - we can't even hack it in the Championship, so I'll not 'shut up', especially where I see perceived inequalities between clubs. I'm actually making a statement on the number of Antipodean imports the Welsh are allowed - irrespective of whether they even obtain the correct visas.

I recently posted that we now had 2 current England "cockney" internationals and was treated with an "about time" reply

As for our 2005 squad we actually were on quota, not that the word quota refered to London or does to Celtic these days.

Everyone should have a right to speak out about the inequalities that the RFL are working to if they so wish. In Yorkshire we say it how it is and boy were we glad when Celtic got promoted we don`t want them back in our league either the Championship sides can`t afford to subsidise them anymore.

We had 3 Stapleton Kent and Ferris. Ferris left early and was replaced by another lad also Australian but I can,t remember his name.

How you can be happy with how things went on re.franchise is beyond me ,the RLF new who they wanted from the begining it was all a farce which cost the clubs money they could ill afford to spend i might add.Alan Rowley said what all other clubs thought ,whether that was right or not is beside the point as the clubs were well and truly stitched up big time and if they have their way they will do the same again.

Yes our squad was overly reliant in 2005 in:vouiua6b SL:vouiua6b , but Mr Rowley was refering to a:vouiua6b NL :vouiua6bsquad where everybody else had a quota of:vouiua6b ONE :vouiua6b

So he was well within his rights to give his opinion

As for deserving a SL place , there is no such thing as that is not how it is decided , personaly in my opinion there are only 5/6 :vouiua6bSUPER us northerners dont do ' Bull**** ' , unfortunatley far too many are willing to accept it as long as it suits them and their club

So no we wont , we will continue to call a spade a spade and if that costs us a place at the table with the ' chosen ones ' so be it , the air is a lot cleaner down here
