Making room for players to come into the squad.

A little puzzled at the Haggerty decision as he hasn't been called back by Saints. Hadn't really put a foot wrong when he played. Still we are not the experts and we trust they know what they are doing.

However we see a few Championship clubs strengthening and signings/loans happening every week. Yet nothing on the Leigh front......again. Players are out there but none coming this way, and regardless of having a name on a contract Joe Williams doesn't count yet.

Surprised at Haggerty's departure as I've been pretty impressed with him, but it makes sense if we're in the process of freeing up cash for new signings.

With Aaron Smith coming back into the fold we are more than covered in the second row department. I'm sure it would be better for Kurt to develop in the Saints reserves rather than ours.

At least he's admitted we need someone bigger up front instead of Haggerty....

It would be nice to actually sign someone and for them to be photographed in a Leigh shirt running out at LSV.

I see Sculthorpe is in hot water at Wakefield. Would we be interested in him? Sportinglife is linking him to Widnes or Barrow...

too much of a trouble maker is Danny we have had enough of those, good player and we couldnt compete with Widnes in a bidding war, that plus salary cap as our crowds aren't as expected it must mean we have to rethink the final figures, whereas Widnes have kept theirs reasonably steady - due mainly to season ticket sales I would think.

Danny S has had more injury problems than their Paul, so I would stay clear and with his discipline aswell. If we were after bigger forwards Haggerty is only going to get bigger.

No he's not, he has hardly grown since he was 18, he aint gonna grow anymore (not naturally anyway

) now he's 21.
