You've got Widnes at home on the 14th May and we've got Sheffiled at home on the 17th. You play Featherstone away on the 28th May.

We don't play Fev away until Thursday 28th May - we're at home to Widnes on Thursday 14th May, with Halifax playing Sheffield at home on the 17th.

I think we play Halifax the Sunday after we play Fev away on Sky.

If we've agreed to play Thursday-Sunday then that's sheer lunacy, especially when you bear in mind that, but for TV, the Fev game would have been that weekend's fixture.

Yes, we get two days' rest and 'Fax get 10! for goodness' sake, it's supposed to be our home fixture - don't we get a say? (or perhaps we have!) 'Fax must be laughing at us! I've asked the Club, if the quote by NK, for the 31st, is right. If it is, he's just gone against what he said about the lunacy of playing two games in four days, at Easter!

However, help may yet be at hand - from 'Fax. If they beat Castleford, in the Cup, the next round is on the weekend of 31 May - perhaps that's why nothing has been confirmed yet?

Incidentally, I don't think the Club has come out officially, to say we aren't playing 'Fax on the 10th.

It would be good to know when the game is going to be, unless they want a programme 'plucking out of the air'!

It's our home game, we should be pushing for a midweek game and try catch 'Fax cold, not giving ourselves less than 72 hours rest from one of the toughest away trips of the season!

In the absence of any official comment about the game on the 10th, I changed the fixture list, in the programme, to say 'To be re-arranged'. I also have spoken to fans who believe the game is going ahead, next Sunday.

I was of the impression that the parties involved (Leigh, 'Fax and the RFL) had to mutually agree to a date to suit all, with any dispute being settled by the RFL...surely even they would realise it's a ridiculous situation to give us 2 games in quick succession, especially when considering the number of free weekends we seem to have.

And, on the subject of our games against 'Fax, does anyone know when the NRC tie is going to take place?

well i rang the club up last week, and they said a decision would be made early this week, well obviously today has been a bank holiday, plus we played, so maybe tomorrow or weds, but nowt would surprise me with our club and the rfl also involved. maybe we could actually play fax's a team this sunday, might win then

why does everyone keep saying that its the challenge cup anything can happen. the underdog teams tend to up there game for occasions like this

the amount of people on this boeard that think we are going to have 50 or 60 points knocked past us in frightening and i think there will be alot of people eating there words. i'm not saying we will end up winning i'm just saying it aint going to be half as easy as everyone on these boeards thinks it is.

Realistically as good as we maybe in this league when it comes to SL they are worlds apart. I would be really suprised if Cas didnt put more than 40 on us but on the other hand i do expect us to compete with them for abot half of the 80 minutes before their fitness and skill pays off.
