he was put on th wing due to injury, i cant see ryan chucking his toys out of the pram for that reason, he seems like a level headed type of guy, hopfully its a one off, and 2 he doesnt get injured playing for cas.

I was thinking more of Cas not being happy.

How would Cas' feel about him playing wing and full back though? Hardly developing his skills and experience as a half back, is it? Personally, I would have thought the Gateshead game would give him an ideal opportunity to do 80 minutes at half back.

Don't get me wrong 'wolrab'. I realise he had to play wing & fullback against Hunslet, and full back at Sheffield - because of the injuries. Just thought next weekend would have been an ideal opportunity to let him have a go in his best position.

However, I hear Cas' were desperate for players last weekend, and that a certain ex-Leigh fullback almost had to sit on the bench!

Ryan as been called back by the under 20's coach to play in the 20's game on friday,doesn't make sense,but thats Castleford for you!

Well they (cas) can't be struggling too much, didnt they beat w!g@n 20's last week who've been grand final winners for the last couple of years?! Obviously some of those players have moved on but still a very good side by all accounts! Maybe we should stick him at half back a bit more especially when riddys having a not too good game n put him on the wing?!

Only why Ryan could have injected some pace etc as riddy wasn't having his best game! Not to play him there just as cover as Ryan was during his time on the field! And then swap! Ryan needed ball in hand on Sunday to make things happen! Just an idea at why he'll probs be playing half back for cas 20's!

Can’t see him being recalled due to us having to play him out of position, think all clubs recognise that its going to happen on occasions, in fact they're probably happy to see how he goes as an emergency Winger or FB in case they need to consider it.

Someone s put on facebook that Ryan been recalled to Cas Under 21s as they can watch him progress better, apparently in the league express it mentions this and Rowley comments hes Cas player and they can do what they want, is this true I hope not, surely Cas wouldn't treat us like this ?

Well if this is the case then i applaud cas for doing it now and not later on in the season.

If Rowls had dropped a seriously out of form player and put Ryan where he should be, he may not have been recalled

He was down to make his full appearance as half back this weekend but Cas recalled him putting a stop to that.

To be honest if Cas had an injury crisis we can't blame them for recalling Ryan.

Now I don't always believe what I read in the papers either and the best person to ask as to wether Ryan will be available is obviously Ryan and no doubt he will put it on Twitter when he knows.

You really must get this anti-Rowley stance out of your system Derek as Brierley was recalled days before Rowls picked his team you 'logic' is way way out, for what it's worth Ryan would have been a starting half back yesterday if Cas hadn't recalled him, also how does any player play himself back into form when we have no u23's? 'cause thats the only way you regain form is by playing not by polishing your arris on the bench.

So if any player loses form he won't be dropped?
