We have a communication problem with these sort of "hype up" the announcement thread. The BOM need to come up with some sort of numbered sliding scale of what big or major announcement actually means. The fans see major or big announcement and they think "we're signing Sonny Bill Williams", yet the BOM use the words to announce contract extensions or new sponsers.

I propose the following sliding scale number system to be used for future pre-announcement announcements:

1 - Tea lady resigns
2 - LSV announcements
3 - Season Ticket and match day price announcements.
4 - Changes to the board
5. New kit launch
6. New sponsor
7. Contract extensions
8. New signing/New coach
9. Club finance statement
10. Sonny Bill signs

A simple we are having a grade 6 announcement tonight will eliminate any confusion.

So which of the board will bite C&W?
