I am hoping Atomic will be along shortly to give us his take on the mysterious disappearance of young Ryan Hampshire from our squad. Atomic seems to know more than meets the eye.

Whatever 17 players Jukesy chooses I will cheer them on,I have my own opinion of our best 17, it may be right but it's my best 17, bring on the Cappers, I can't wait.

That team looks good enough to get the two points so I'm not bothered if players had fall outs or they not good enough get picked let's get these middle 8s off to a flyer

No he's just been dropped due to his form lately.

I'm not too sure about the threequarters , I liked Brown on the wing collecting the high balls into the corner but, he lacks finishing pace! maybe Fleming can take the wing spot with Brown along side him? Cory is a very capable player although, he can be turned easily by quicker opponents out wide!

Hopefully Mortimer can have a big impact, otherwise, we're getting relegated.

=#FF0000Stewart - Unlucky with injuries, hampering his impact - Disappointing despite an ever present for Catalans:- 5/10

=#FF0000Clare - As above but can still be a huge success for Leigh, even during the qualifiers - Unable to mark for obvious reasons.

=#FF0000Pelisier - Speeds up the ruck, I like him but not quite reached his Catalan performance levels: - 6/10

=#FF0000Maria - Big , solid, with a good work ethic without being spectacular:- 6/10

=#FF0000Green - Offers a huge 6 foot 4 of absolutely nothing:- 1/10

=#FF0000Hampshire - Big time Charlie, shows the odd glimmer of class but to far and few in between, not as good as he thinks he is: - 5/10

=#FF0000Mortimer - To early but looks like he has a rugby brain on him, creative, and showing signs already of developing a great half back partnership with Drinkwater.

=#FF0000Langi - As above, big and strong , could be a real handful out wide on the edges.

=#FF0000Crooks - Come in and done his job, a young English centre who I only question if fully committed to Leigh then has the potential to have an even greater impact: - 7/10

=#FF0000Vea - Disciplined forward, never puts his team on the back foot or under pressure. Hungry, durable and play's full 80 mins every game, never cries off, harshly criticised: - 7/10.

=#FF0000Thompson:- Saw him play one game v Hull KR, looked uncomfortable, can not see him playing again any day soon:

=#FF0000Richards - Only 22 year old. Played 70+ Super League games already including the GF in front of 70,000 at Old Trafford. Best years ahead of him and has the potential to be a real asset. looked promising last time out for us:

I reckon young Matty Flemming will start, and Glenn Stewart will be back in from the bench. IMO.

Well hopefully it is all now resolved and apologies have been made with Ryan Hampshire back and training.

Hopefully we don't see Stewart in an organising 13 role. Shouldn't be needed with Mortimer, Drinkwater and McNally in the side, and need the go forward down the middle now we're missing Hock, Acton and Weston.

Agree with just about everything there Harold. On Mortimer, I would add that, on the basis of the Salford game, he has one heck of a work ethic too. The guy was everywhere and involved in everything - especially in defence. I guess the question is - would he eventually be better at hooker, when/if Micky retires?

I would welcome that. Whatever we think of him as a player, we are going to need all the squad available for the start of this campaign. We can't bring anyone else in, and we have no reserves to call on.

Even I am harshly treating this guy, should be an absolute minimum 8/10 overall - He was a real menace to Featherstone all afternoon. Strong with the ball, agressive in defence. A Superb performancefrom minuite 1 to minuite 80.

He played well did Fleming, he had the job of nullifying Featherstone's biggest threat to us, Tulipappa. He did it well. He stays at centre for me. It looks like Langi is out next week. So come in James Clare, and a three quarter next week of Clare, Brown, Flemming, and Dawson. IMO

Juksey say's Langi should be ok for this weeks game, so that's good news. Hock and Crooks have done for the season.
