Next year will be my 60th anniversary from my fist visit to Hilton Park with my Dad, and I have been going ever since, but with the complete disregard eminating from the club towards the fans with the mushroom syndrome of keeping us in the dark, (it would not be so bad if at least they fed us some shi7) I have just about had enough of the total amateurish way we are being treated, do they not want to get those remaining who care for the club on their side,
Just walk round town and talk to people who have been going for years they are as fed up as I am, lose us, and the club will wither, at least in the dark days in the past, we were aware of what was going on and what the club was trying to do, these days nothing, Pi55ed of with it.

Agree 100% Harry, I've been watchin Leigh for about 55 years , and I've seen some average and below average sides, most teams return to training in about 4 weeks time yet we have no players.I've been a season ticket holder for a fair few years as well, this doesn't inspire me to get one next season.

You decide to be open or not, we have obviously chosen not - why we haven't got a clue but as majority shareholder and majority creditor he can do as he wishes. Heard today that there is no one at the club to issue any statements , all the Directors including DJB have gone on holiday, just about the same attitude that Mdm. Antoinette had when she said "let them eat cake" in other words F&#k them.
Not that they have decided to go on holiday that is their prerogative, it is the fact that they well know the town is awaiting some directive and they choose to ignore it, well the feeling is reciprocated F&#k them, I'm out!

It's a free world as they say ( well it is regarding wether you decide to spend your money watching sport ) , nobody is forcing anybody to do anything

It's absolutely the owner's prerogative to say nowt. And there may well be an excellent reason to do so - no doubt we will eventually hear from him.

However, I will repeat that, excluding your customers is not the best way forward! Harry has already voiced his views - views echoed by other loyal fans.

As someone who was part of our 'new communications', it infuriates and saddens me to hear the deafening silence coming out of the club. It is my opinion that this is probably the worst we have ever been, at keeping our customers, sponsors etc. informed - and these are the very people that the club is going to need, in the very near future!

Well unless it is so radical that we are all going to start cheering and rubbing our hands in anticipation of a new dawn, bringing with it hope by the bucket full it may well be to late, the club may have already lost a good number of the 'faithful'.

Had the club engaged with the spectators throughout this process they would undoubtably have kept some momentum going what they have done is nothing short of a reversed PR excersize, exclude everyone and hope for the best, diabolical!

You really surprise me Gubby, I must say that when you were giving us your thoughts of how you had plans of promoting interest in the town getting more people through gates, all you required was a budget to set in motion your thought process, you convinced me and had me in your corner.

Has this situation also now got to you?, the statement you make above sound's like someone who has lost their positivity and drive, akin to a whatever will be will be, like a "I don't care anymore" attitude.

Not at all Harry , quite simply we know we are in a bad place at the moment , and yes next season might well be different to the more recent ones , but the quality of the side has never had influence over wether I attend or not , I support the club , therefore whoever wears the shirt will get my support

As regards my idea's , I very much doubt I will ever get the chance to implement them , they tend to go against the more common thoughts on running a club , so unless I could finance them myself I doubt I'd convince anybody else to give me ' free reign ' , as that is what would be needed

On the inception of licencing I approached several clubs including ours with an idea of working together for the common good , the responses I got back were , let's say disappointing , if they had followed my idea , I fairly sure we along with all the other clubs would have had a regular income stream building each year by now

DB has destroyed the club, almost as much as the Blackpool Mafia tried to do. He couldn't get enough of the limelight when we were doing well. Now it's all gone pear-shaped he's like the Scarlet Pimpernel. I hope his picture has gone from the side of The Centurion - It's laughable it was ever put there alongside the 'Greats'

Don't know what is going to happen to Leigh but these are very dark days indeed. We need a miracle but I believe we will be back again. COME ON LEIGH!!!!!!!!

Your last 10 words are the relevant part Graham , we will be ' back ' , exactly where ' back ' is we might not be sure , probably our historical place of between 12th and 16 th in the British RL ' ladder '

It might take a year or two , but that's fine , any that don't want to support the club through the ' getting back ' are entirely free not to do so ( free world and all that ) but I wish they'd stop whingeing about it

Hi Mick , we have met before , I dropped you off at the train station in Manchester after a game once , can't remember which game it was now , anyway interesting you should ask this question as HX sports started up shortly afterwards

The idea was that rather than all the non SL clubs trying to get a decent deal with various kit suppliers all 20 ( as it was in 2008 ) would put £ 2500 in each giving us 50K to play with , we would find a smallish clothing company looking to expand and offer them the cash for a 50% share of their company ( the 50k would allow for the purchase of a laminating machine to produce the printed type shirts )

We would also be bringing 300/400 grands worth of new business initially , we would use a branding company into which a % would go into for every item produced

The clubs would own 80% of the branding co and the manufacturer 20 %

The branding co wouldn't initially employ anybody but would build up funds to start marketing sports kits that the clubs could then sell on , the 20 clubs would be the ' outlets '

Essentially the clubs would get kits cheaper producing more income , potentially income from the manufacturer ( as they would each own a 2.5% share of it ) and most importantly the brand co , which would build hopefully into several clothing brands , just as we see in the larger sports and indeed non sports retail outlets

Similar ideas work in the NFL and Super Rugby to create millions of pounds ( in fact probably billions in the NFL ) so it's obviously a bad idea
