Come on, you been telling us past 2 year this guy is better than Wayne Bennet.

If He hadn't have resigned one week before the start of the season, he would have been sacked.

No matter how dire it is now, We would not have enjoyed beating Wigan, St.Helens, Warrington and nilling two other SL teams under his coaching , that's for sure. We would be no where near.

Millionaires chequebooks and still a specialist in failure. Give me Keiron Purtil everyday of the week and twice on Sundays!

I enjoyed my trip to Toronto in the summer, great place. I wonder if we get the chance to go back there or will Argyle switch our game to one of the European cities he mentioned. I wouldn’t mind a trio to Dublin, never been there.

If I was the owner of Toronto, I would be on the blower to Neil right now asking him to name his price.

Rowleys ride as has Beaumonts is ended, and bloody good riddence to the pair of them.

I'm not sure why this board keeps talking about Rowley as he hasn't been the Leigh coach for nearly two years, I just don't get it. He left for his own reasons (I'm not sure I would work for a megalomanic either) but I do know one thing, all the lads that COULD follow him did so that tells me what sort of character he is. But you know what, as Atomic says above, his and hopefully Beaumont's era has gone and given the position we're in at the moment, I think we should concentrate on our own club rather than anyone else's.

When will you let the bitterness go?

We played champagne rugby and had a great team spirit under Paul. It was DB who has caused and continues to cause the problems at Leigh. He did the same thing in 2005. Boom and bust!!

Good luck to Paul Rowley. He has done a fantastic job at Toronto in the 2 years he has been coach. I am sure he will get Toronto into SL next season. Wish he was still at Leigh.

The Sky pundits were discussing rumours, after the game, that he won't be at Toronto next season. As for Paul's time at Leigh, I wasn't his number one fan, but yet I still get this nagging feeling that, just like Brierley and others, we only ever did get fed one side of the story!

He will be sacked unfortunately. I am hearing they have a very good coach lined up to take them to the next level.

The person who has mentioned Rowley the most on here is Peter.

Not interested in any other clubs or coaches - and who has been sacked or left. I just hope we can keep KP a great coach and a great person. I make the assumption that we will have a team next year in any league.

Hopefully this forum will discuss relevant rugby topics and not be a platform for disgruntled ex-players.

Fingers crossed for KP - served his apprenticeship at SL and worked with top players at England Knights. Looks like he’s well thought of in RL circles too.

Perhaps a skeleton staff next year (*thats IF we can get an investor) is Higham going to play on? If not KP should bring him in as his number 2 for his knowledge, enthusiasm, love of Leigh and the respect he has earned in Rugby league.
