And where's Mike Latham in this mess he's helped to create? He was writing more lengthy press releases than you could shake a stick at in the good times, shouldn't he be trying to steady the ship by at least asking the fans to 'stick with it', or is he abandoning his post too?

I must admit I laughed when he was appointed,as a person a very nice guy, as a Journalist and writer, very talented, but a Chairman

If he hadn't hired the helicopter those players might , just might have got paid something . Easy come easy go !!

The irony to all this is that Mike is a fantastic communicator, Ian - both through the written and spoken words. However, like any good media personality, he is only as good as his script. Alan, I've already stated Mike talents, however as far as I know he is still Chairman, but in what capacity?If Derek walks will he stay?What about the other guy ie Steve Openshaw?Are we about to see a clear out?I presumed current contracts end in October but when?So many questions,there is more info coming out of North Korea,Kim Jong could be ready to take over.

So the statement is now out and at least they've gone to some length to try and explain the situation but it still reads as though it's everyone's fault but their own. Granted there's an apology at the end but they still don't seem to have taken any real ownership of blame.

no it didn't it says all players that have agreed a reduced pay have been payed not the players that want what has been agreed on their contract and can't blame the players that want what it says on their contract

I agree Gunner,what would Derek do if all his customers agreed to pay x amount for Sundecks fitted to their caravans , then offered him half the agreed priced later?He would last long I business.

First the Leigh one and now one from the RFL allowing us to sign academy players (with no first team experience), same for Fev.

Its a paternal instinct, a family member is in the sheeite and instead of helping many seem intent on putting the boot in whilst claiming to be part of that family.

I believe this week's comparative avalanche of communication from the club, may have come about as a result of pressure to encourage them to break silence.

I agree with what Mo says and when the time comes I will do whatever I can to help Leigh.
As for families?Alan this year the Caroli family have been badly let down by close family members,but we survive,as Leigh Centurions will do.
