| First off, on a positive note - thanks a million to the thirteen guys who put on the shirt this afternoon, in an impossible situation. I salute and admire each and every one of you I was proud to see your efforts.
Now, to whoever it was who was responsible for risking the health and welfare of those thirteen lads, be they as employees, or team mates - you ought to be ashamed of yourselves! It is totally unacceptable, to expect any modern day forward, let alone all six of them, to put their bodies on the line for eighty minutes. Thank goodness we had a compassionate referee, who took every opportunity to pause the game for a while, so that players could 'enjoy' a desperately needed respite!
Back on my 'soap box' of communication. This week, we were fed a scrap of information, in the form of a sixteen man team sheet, for today's game. That team sheet contained the names of Matty Dawson-Jones, Ilias Bergal, and Jordan Dezaria. I've seen the explanations on this forum, but could anybody from the club, please enlighten us on the whereabouts today, of those three players? It's one thing giving only 'positive' information, it's another thing not giving any information, but it's surely the final straw, to dish out what appears to be out-and-out untruths!
I went to Dewsbury, and I was immensely proud of those thirteen guys, but I feel absolutely dejected at the situation we are now in. I don't feel like going to Featherstone, because I can't see how we are going to find thirteen players, and I certainly don't want to spend another eighty minutes worrying about the health and welfare of those who do wear the shirt!

Well as he got to the changing room first let's hope he had a good look in the mirror, big money and credit as he has given his all and put his body on the line week in week out, and indeed you can see the ability he has - but the first few weeks he of all of em looked way off the pace
However I can now see him getting a gig in the NRL, i do believe he could be a class act but (not on his own) let us down probably thinking it was easy street early doors

Don't get me wrong, I admire the way he has stuck at it, when others haven't. I'm not knocking him at all for his reaction.
I think today, he was probably trying too hard to cover up for our weaknesses. That's the only explanation I can come up with for two successive kick offs sailing straight out of play, after a goal line drop out hadn't gone 10 metres!

The theory is simple, build up as he season goes on, strengthen and condition ready for the M8's - someone somewhere got it badly wrong, and in all honesty I don't think it was Derek

| Understandably the players were probably unsure as to the fans reaction to today , which as Drew was near the tunnel when the game finished he decided to leave straight away , no criticism of that
It wasn't the players thanking the fans for coming , it was the fans thanking the players for their facing up to the situation as they did

| I thought Hutchison could have come over and joined his team mates to show a little appreciation to the fans, if I am honest.
He may not be enjoying it right now but neither are we the fans , And we are spending money to witness it.
It felt like Keiron and Micky were clapping every single one of us individually at the end.
Tough times, real tough.

As we were spread out more than usual today we didn't really give the team much vocal support , obviously not a lot to ' kick start ' us , and perhaps Drew wasn't too sure on our reaction post final whistle
As I said , no criticism , in what was a very difficult situation today
Apparently Drew did receive some criticism from a small minority during the game , that may have influenced his decision to exit the pitch
While I'm not his biggest fan , he certainly has given all he could in these recent games including today

Indeed , the issue today wasn't the props playing 80 minutes or players playing out of position ( they are all capable of both easily ) it is when injury occurs if those players then say they are OK to continue when they aren't and could do further damage to already tired bodies , especially possible head injuries and players on loan from other clubs

Its a dire situation, fact being DB did state he would see it through to the end of this season. It looks like a clear backtrack on his part. Why? I dont know. Some may say recuperation of losses,or basically milking the cow dry. Granted it was his money that got the club to SL. But i'm still working out, if it was his money that got us Championship.

| First up I hope the RFL act in the close season to stop the issue of substitutes not being named, whilst Leigh took it to a new level it's been slowly creeping in, fans are paying hard earned money to watch this and no organisation or club can claim to care about player welfare whilst doing this or allowing it to happen.
As for our club, a new low and one those in charge should be ashamed of, our club's credibility was low after the pantomime of the last few weeks but now it's in the dustbin.
The silence from the club is now insulting and DB is now losing the club some hardcore supporters, backing a losing team or one not up to the standard is to be expected, backing a team that is sent out without enough players encourages the total mismanagement of our club and somehow helps justify it-that can't carry on whatever the outcome.
For me it's time for someone at the club(not the coach-the guy is fielding questions from journalists whilst the owner/directors should step forward to do that) to just state point blank publicly what's going on as we are clearly at the end if yesterday is to be used as an indicator.

| Its an absolute joke of a situation, people who are involved with the club are on here, they comment on most threads and are "in the know"
Gunners is bang on, lads should be paid, irrespective of missing the middle 8's.
2 years on the bounce now we have cancelled contracts because we are a joke of a club. Make no bones about it, the club is knackered. The money is there, paid by the RFL aslong as we fullfill fixtures, the lads aren't getting it though!! Wonder were its going??
Players should try and get their money back on Judge Rinder?

Neil, I have always respected and listened to what you have to say, as I know you talk with folk in the know, myself I've never really been concerned about players wages and contracts,as that's between the Club and the players, but I agree it's a total joke of a situation, and when folk say Derek can do as he pleases, that's even more of a joke.
I haven't been to a game since the Fev debacle a few weeks ago and I won't go again this season,in Mike Latham we have a Chairman who won't speak, unless its quoting records, maybe someone should tell him to make a statement.I don't know where the money has gone ,and keep hearing how much money Derek has put into the Club,it's time the fans were informed about what's going on.
