Sorry but that’s got to be it now he’s spent more time on the side lines this season shame really because if he sorted himself out he could be the next Chris hill.

He should have been shipped out before the start of last season, he is an indisciplined liabilty. Surprisingly, he is a fan’s favourite, god knows why.

Hopefully there is a clause in his contract that says that he has to be available for selection on a regular basis. If there isn’t then someone was wearing blinkers when they signed it.

Saw the incident, Jamie was well out of order - we don't need this in our team. The lad was in a bad way. If it was caught on video - bye Jamie for at least 6 matches possibly longer.

Any news on how Hemingway is, he was taken to Hospital (blue lighter)

Should never play another game for the club, whether he has a big contract or not. Tell him he can be the water carrier for the next two years or find another club. No way anyone can defend his record or give him yet another chance. A complete liability who could have cost us dear today, where it not for his team mates.

The lad didnt look well at all so hope he gets better soon.
I presume the official in the stand saw it so he'll be the one who will know if it was intentional or not (along with Jamie).

I must admit I didn't see what Acton did, however it could have cost us not only the game but put an end to our season.However it didn't, the boys played very well a man down for virtually all the game ,
laing up the slope in that heat , I thought they played very well, Hutchy, Ben R, and HH were the stand outs , but all put the effort in, back to Acton, time to go, we don't this liability.

The incident was in front of me. Hemingway kicked the ball to the corner. Acton was putting him under pressure, but followed through, after Hemingway kicked. He appeared to make minimal contact with the side of the Batley player's head, with what seemed like two or three fingers. I was surprised at the impact it had on Hemingway, so goodness knows where he caught him.

That said, he had no reason whatsoever to touch Hemingway, especially around the head - so he had to go. One thing I would question - the referee said he saw it, but I don't believe he did. He'd waved play on and was supervising the ptb in our corner, along with the touch judge.

I was at the game and it looked a terrible and cowardly late forearm at the bottom of the slope that put the Batley player into an ambulance and on to hospital.

If I can politely point out you do not get a red card if the officials do not see it. STOP DEFENDING THE INDEFENSIBLE

I hope he gets a very long ban and never pulls on our shirt again. He is not fit to wear it.

Seen the video clip, Acton didn't appear to 'raise his elbow' just left it there (so to speak).

Could I respectfully point out that you seem to have misinterpreted my post.

The still,doesn't show the whole picture. The clip being shown that's doing the rounds,shows Acton raising his arm. The still pic your seeing is actually after the initial impact. Cheap shot and late but not convinced there was any head contact, but definitely shoulder.

Totally unnecessary, and Leigh need to deal with it now, as they just can't afford a liability.
