According to League weekly, Leigh have reported Paul Rowley to the RFL, for using foul & abusive language to Leigh Chairman Mike Latham. Mike is said to be very upset, because he had considered Rowley as one of his top two all-time Leyther heroes. (John Woods being the other) He also claims to have done more for PR's career than anyone else.There are also accusations of PR having a go at Kieron Purtill (why would he do that, for goodness sake?) and a Toronto official 'conveniently' blocking the camera view of the altercation.

The RFL are reported to have said they will investigate goings on, which are also said to have included a confrontation between a Leigh fan and PR, and Paul Anderson and PR!

Should be a feisty trip to Toronto next month!

Oh, and apparently the touch judges said that Ben Reynolds' late kick, went over the top of a post!

Whilst there is no doubting Paul Rowley's conduct has been far from Gentlemanly. (SKY TV Live broadcast proves this) I am not actually sure what reporting Rowley for being nasty to Mike actually achieves.

The RFL will do nothing other than issue a token slap wrist to both clubs. We should draw a line and move on.

Well you are close to Paul but the only footage I have seen is of Paul on the field live to the nation, which the RFL will also have viewed and will now no doubt discuss if his action towards an opposition coach alone convenes a charge of bringing the game in to disrepute against Paul.

IF Paul was physically assaulted outside the stadium as you allege then if true obviously that is a disgrace but it would be completely outside of RFL jurisdiction as you well know.

I can’t comment on the 3rd but I assume the first two you mean Anderson squirting water in his general direction and Acton pushing him away from Purtill?

Long and short of it is this, a coach should be able to rise above any niggle. Only one coach from the two teams on display did that, and admirably so I would say.

Lastly if I were to look up morals and integrity in a dictionary I should hope to see a picture of a Mike Latham smiling back at me. I would certainly believe any statement from Mike over half the tripe posted on here...

Rowley showing his true colours..... had all the money at Leigh and signed Moi Moi, Hock etc., got unlimited money at Toronto signing Sims etc.

I don't think hes that good of a coach really, his teams are always ill disciplined and cant concentrate for a full 80 minutes, never got Leigh promoted when he should have done.

I think if he does get them into Super League, he'll only last a season if that, then they'll replace him with someone experienced, may be Shaun Wayne, Wayne Bennett?

Think Leigh folk need to take a breath and have a look at themselves.

Rowley is abrasive and a bit of a grub at times ,but you were all happy
to get behind that brand when it suited.

Paul anderson (who has previous) did himself and the club no credit. The video on Ytube
clearly show this.

Similarly the actions of DB brother both inside and and outside the ground will be subject to more scruitiny.

KPurtill is the one shining light at Leigh. I think staff and fans would do well to follow his lead
rather than adopt the Jeremy Kyle /WWE antics of others in and around the club.

Toronoto similarly need to take a look at themselves and sort themselves out.

The view that Rowley and Toronoto are the root of all evil is a somewhat naive and one eyed view.

Anderson I believe was enquiring with the referee about Reynolds kick. Rowley who I believe was in the vicinity of both is alleged to have called Anderson a spineless so and so in no uncertain terms, Anderson not rising turned and walked away not before he splashed some water that landed very near rowley. No great shakes. Kids stuff.

But I believe Andereson was then followed and confronted by Rowley and matters took a different turn.

By the way has anyone asked Jamie Acton what Rowley was actually shouting at Purtill? Toronto players heard that as well. There are one or two Leigh based players amongst them.
