Frank fell in his room on Friday night before the Catalan game. Saw him before the game and he sounded dreadful. I don't know whether he made the match or not but he is still in France awaiting an operation on his hip.

If you're on about frank1, He was at the game,I spoke to him when he was sat down, but he never mentioned that he had had a fall. After saying that,I heard yesterday that a certain frank was in hospital with a broken hip,but never knew it was frank1. Frank1, hope you are soon up and running again if this news is true. After being warned not to drink the Wobbly Bob in Salford, Bongser apologises for omitting to warn you off drinking anything a Crapaud (even one posing as a Catalan) offers you.

Should have warned the team to stay off the proffered half-time beverages too. Now that was a Fall of Biblical proportion in le seceund-arf.

Frank fell outside the hotel on Sunday night John took him to the hospital in the ambulance he has broke his hip and is having an operation tomorrow up to now, it was at first supposed to be today, he's in a private hospital in France and his daughter and rest of family know, his daughter was going out there to be with him. I have been trying to ring him but his phone must have ran out of charge. Hope this all helps I will keep you all posted.

Update. Frank has had his op and is OK, no walking for two days hoping to get him home within a week.

No worries mate. I have heard today it was actually his leg that he had broke, apparently that came from his daughter.

If 'our' Frank is looking in, Best of British pal, hope your recovery is fast & relatively painless.

Spoke to Frank yesterday he is hoping to be home in the next few days but has to go to Salford Royal for about six weeks, he was OK but bored looking at four walls all day.

Ian, will he be spending the 6 weeks in Salford Royal?
