Another week, another big game to look forward to.
Huddersfield will be trying to correct the wrongs of last week (as will we)but no doubt use the play off defeat as a bit of motivation as well.
For us this is our toughest test todate as it's a club we've beaten recently so a chance for complacency to creep in on the terraces.
We need to back the lads totally in this and not waste time motivating Brierley by giving him the bird in the game ,boo him at the start/end if your still rankled by his (agents) money motivated tricks but OUR players will need the backing on Friday so let's support the lads who want to play for us and create another bouncing atmosphere.
Sounds like we've a few returning players in contention for a spot and not heard of any injuries from Fri (which makes a change) so a good squad to pick from.

Danny Brough has been playing with a groin tear that Hudds have tried to keep under wraps. The players need to be "legally" targeting that to keep him quiet. Everything that Hudds do goes through him.

I imagine the 150 travelling Huddersfield fans are looking forward to the game also.....

The new rules on the away clubs keeping 50 % of the ticket sales at their ticket offices in 2018 could result in Huddersfield being one of the big losers fron that incentive sadly. It will be interesting what the final numbers will look like for us as well. Especially if the season does not pan out as intended.

Unless it is a shared gate the away team will keep 50% of their away ticket sales provided they are bought from the away fans club.ie for 2018.

We always make noise away from home and i doubt there will be a drum that's reserved for home games thank the lord, not sure on the trumpet or not but our usual piece of percussion will be there, we aren't known as the 'cowbell army' for nothing

Shouldn't really be necessary as what we make from our away games will more than cover it. For example twice as many of our fans will probably travel to Leeds than the numbers of their fans that came to us. OK we will do well to match Saints following to ours but history tells us that the Giants will probably only muster a fifth of what will follow us to the Giants. Obviously though results will also have a bearing

seems to be alot of discussion about away support by leigh fans, as a giants fan i will be attending as always but theres still a cloud hanging over the giants at the moment from last seasons shambles and some of our fans are very fickle... whereas your fans are still on a high and happy just to be back in SL, not that much of a difference in home attendances between the two clubs.

wont be many that make the trip over tomorrow night , the m62 closures are a nightmare on the way home at the moment, added an extra 45mins on last two trips to warrington away (friendly) and the widnes away game.



anyway should be a good game, not sure what giants team will turn up or who will be playing after so many being out last time, early days but its games like this that both team will be targeting to win and get into that top 8 end of season

Our only guarantee is that our best players are in the stand!! Tonga Patterson and Stewart will be nigh on impossible to replace

Giants missing 3 back row players who would otherwise be nailed on in the 17 is where it'll tell for us, big loss in the engine room sadly means we'll have to work our props harder

As for an injury to Brought, please that rumour is 3 years old

brough always carrying an injury, luckily not many come as tough as him and he plays half the time with injectons to mask the pain

I have to say that, even though I may or may not have poked fun at supporter numbers in the past (I honestly can't remember if I have & if I did then it was Wakey) it has become quite a boring & pointless exercise.

I would much rather concentrate on the RL.
