Just been down to LSV to order my North Stand season ticket, last had a ST the year we moved to LSV.

Matt at the ticket office told me it was going well, plenty taking up the ST offer & there were a few doing the same as I bought mine.

I wonder, how many ST holders did the club have for 2016 ?
&
How many do we think we might have for 2017 ?

Anyone else here bought a season ticket for the 1st time, or 1st time in a while ? Anyone bought multiple season tickets ?

I've just got two today. First time since 2005.

Renewed mine and our Ol's.

Our three renewed and a fourth to come for a long lost ex fan.

That is good, especially if a good balance of them are adults.

Not had one myself for 7 or 8 years, but me and the grandson will be in the west stand (plays rugby and football 5 days a week but won't stand up a a game

Missus will also be attending quite a few also - and have to say the sat evening games are a winner for us.

The club also said that there is a mixture of renewals and new ST buyers. Another good sign as, hopefully, we will be starting from a higher minimum attendance.

I'm sure Michael Norris said we would need an average of 5000 to break even in SL. If we can he close to that without opposition fans we will be in a strong position off the field, without having to rely on Derek's money

Our 5 bought. 2 adult, 3 u18. North stand again.

I believe we can hit over 4000 season tickets and average about 6500 gates, hopefully more. Without the East open the North has a capacity of 3000 and I can see that either completely sold out with season tickets or very close - that will be one hell of a band of Brothers next season.
Stewarts signing is a brilliant one, just listen to the praise it has got from the RL hierarchy, should we have a marquee also we may be sitting on the hottest ticket in the area for the derby games

I can see the North stand being sold out on Season Tickets if it only holds 3000. Pity half of the East Stand cant be converted to a standing zone, that would be great, but can't see this happening.

Most super league clubs break even at around an 8000-10000 average, so unless your spending significantly under the cap, or not running an academy, I can't see how it would be so much lower for you.

So how are Salford, Wakey, Cas, Widnes, Giants, and HKR managing then. That's half of SL that can't get that average.

We have a stadium built without debt that we get nothing for from beer/ food sales, our rental deal reflects those two facts, it's mutually beneficial.
So in comparison to Salfords debt ridden stadium we are quids in, and also to say Wakefield's rather run down one which must cost a fortune to keep legal

Profit pays bills not income so we can run at full cap with lower crowds. We ran at about 1.3m on cap this season but only got 450k from central, so the extra 500k on cap is offset by 1.4m more central funding, probably about 600k more in gates and 200k in sponsorship which means we have plenty left over for the marquee signing imo, and pay off some of Derek's loans that got us here

You know it makes sense, especially when you can't get into where you want to be for the big games

They run at a loss with the likes of Koukash, Davey and Hudgell putting their hands in their pockets to pay the difference every year.

Leigh's projections, based on the scenarios mentioned by Maurice, above - especially the relationship with the stadium owners, have always suggested a break even of way below 8k. I guess time will tell on that one.

I don't see how Sir Kevin can be sure of his original statement with respect.

Every club has to budget and none of those budgets are the same. I expect those budgets are estimated by every club' whichever division they are in.

Exactly my position over the last few seasons since I last had a ST, like you I thought, what hell, even if I can't make a few games the Club still has my money to invest in the squad etc.

North Stand or bust for me.

While I appreciated Derek's generosity I still felt a little bit aggrieved to be in the East Stand & having 1st time speccies in the North.

Won't happen now I have a North Stand ST.
