It is time however to heed our captain's cry for everyone to get behind the boys today.
I will be getting up between night shifts after 2 hours sleep to listen on mixler and send messages of support. It's the best I can do I'm afraid. I urge everyone who can however to join my old Dad at the LSV and sing yer yeds off.

TFI Time. A fortnight of build up, of nervousness and of worry. The spectre of last year has been casting a long shadow. A win today would see expectation rise again as well as the first two points on the board.

There's a post on the Broncos' forum stating that no London based team has won in Leigh, a home shut out that no other league team can boast. This seemingly goes back to the 30s - longer than Bob Beamon's record stood. All records are eventually broken but let's hope that this one stands a few years longer.

Looking forward to this one, i still would have played Hood instead of Reynolds, but I cant see London troubling us too much. We need to set a marker today, because it will be very tough next week against a really good Salford side

From a Bulls fan, best of luck in the 8's. I hope you.manage to get up. If the Championship as a league is ever going to progress it needs a team like Leigh, who have worked so hard for so long, to be the ones who make the jump. Good luck fellas.

Clinical for 70 minutes and absolutely diabolically bad for the last 10.

As for points difference, I disagree. Those 22 points in just 11 minutes could end up being the difference between a home or away MPG. I actually feel at this moment like we lost.

The speedsters of Salford will be rubbing their hands when they see the last 10 minutes of today's game.

How many times do we have to learn the same lesson?!

In a league structure it ALWAYS matters about points difference. They are not there just to make the table look pretty.

Even based on the first 70 I think we will struggle against a SL team, but we have the points in the board and move on. Next week will show whether we have a sniff or not

That last 8 minutes was embarrassing, on todays performance we have NO chance of beating a SL side.

And thats my point.

We will have to be exceptional with a bit of luck to beat a Sl side, never mind the other 3 teams!

There will be some whallopings and we may get one too.

The Mpg is all about nerves. In fact I don't think home advantage means nowt, it just adds the pressure.

HKR are the weakest Sl team in my opinion. We play them away so that could be interesting.

Next week will measure us.

Leigh weren't good before that awfull last 10 minutes.

At least the coaching staff know who our worst offenders were.

Unless this is dealt with promptly we will get thrashed next week.

A win is a win but play like that next week and we will be shown up.

The 1st half was shocking. We looked really really nervous from the start. Terrible handling errors, heavy penalty count and just general sloppy play left us with way to much defending to do. A decent side would have been well ahead of us given the sheer amount of defending we had to do. Seemed unbelievable that we were ahead at half time.

For the first 32 minutes of the 2nd half we calmed it down, played some better stuff and completed much better and pulled away slowly but surely.

With 8 minutes to go at 34 - 8 up we seemed to switch off entirely. They scored, 2 red cards were handed out and our heads went completely. Conceding 22 points in 8 minutes in completely unacceptable. I was having flashbacks of our visit to Odsal earlier in the season. Luckily the whistle went before London had time to do any more damage.

Plus side is that for 70 minutes we were by far the better side and deservedly opened up a wide lead.

Negatives obviously is that, despite all that, we still did our best to throw it away and very nearly managed it.

Must be much much better for Salford next week if we want to even keep it respectable, let alone get the win!

I'm not sure we were that much better than them for large parts of the first half. They seemed to make easy metres most sets. Their forwards were very good.

Less said about the last 10 minutes the better!

The first half tired out our more elderly players and the space created by only 12 men exploited that. london did look like Leigh 2015 at the end. Disappointed in lack of offloads by our forwards and a few 40/20 attempts would have helped. Very one dimensional.

You're right, I should of said we were much the better side 'over 70 minutes' not 'for 70 minutes'.

There were definitely periods where we struggled and London were on top but after 70 minutes 34 - 8 was a pretty accurate representation of how the game had gone.

The last 10 minutes... I don't know how to describe that to be honest. Bizzare, shocking and unacceptable might cover it!
