Guess we will see what Drinkwater is capable of.

He was Rohan Smiths number 1 choice for a half back for Bradford but we got there 1st.

Hopefully he will come back to haunt them tomorrow.

Was made an offer, or at least approached by Bulls & turned them down in favour of Centurions according to Bulls page.

Must say it's impressive how DB & as a Club we can attract players of calibre to our little Championship outfit .... (tongue in cheek).

According to form Ridyard has been dropped and has not signed a new deal.

Well he was there on Saturday but a picture on facebook that I saw of him, he looked very pale and unwell. Didn't help with his face recovering from that shiner. He'll be back soon.

In his post match interview Jukes confirmed Ridy had been left out and also he might "get his groin fixed" like Paterson and be out for 4 weeks with a view to being right for the 8's.

Also suggested Paterson and Fui back next week.

Burns has never played in the Championship though,I'm ready to give anyone a chance, the same as Ben Evans.Travis was a star man when he played for HKR, which is why Saints paid a fee for him.
I'm not knocking Riddy either, but if Martin is injured you have to make alternative plans.Derek has shown he means business this time around, a trio of Drinkwater, Reynolds, and Burns gives us plenty of options, I for one can't wait, bring it on.

According to Jukesy the lad isn't fit to play yet and is as near to fitness as Greg McNally.

Martyn has been and hopefully will remain to be a crackin player for our club for many years. Hopefully a new contract is there for him to sign.

According to the papers the contract is there...along with one from Toronto. You have to decide whether loyalty will get us promoted or being ruthless will.

I'm reading the loan signing of Burns as a confirmation that Riddy is getting groin surgery and will be out for at least the 4 weeks suggested by Neil Jukes, with a couple more weeks to get fully game fit. The loan part also makes me believe that Burns is being given the opportunity to either prove he still has the desire (he certainly has the ability) or not. Smart move by the club in my opinion. Get Riddy 100% for the middle 8's and give us experience and options in the meantime, and lots of cover for injuries come the business end.
I really hope Riddy stays (if the Toronto rumours are even true) as I believe he still has more to offer and has shown true commitment in his time here so far.
