By far and away the worst possible draw. Massive expense for the club, huge disruption to the players & Jukes' plans as players need time off to travel & recover from travel and impossible for most fans to get to. All for a b of a dead rubber game against a team we should beat easily. Literally any other draw would have been better.

Oh cheer up! tHis is a great chance to advertise our club in Europe. Besides looking at the rest of the draw who's to say it won't be live on Sky,especially as the advertised kick off time of 5pm Saturday fits in perfectly with matches in France

Advertise our club in Europe?!?! It's a 5th round cup game against a team barely one step up from amateur, it's hardly like we're playing Catalan in a semi fin in Paris in front of the world's media! Well there's only 1 game on TV & there's 3 fixtures between closer matched teams (arguably 4) all of which don't involve the expense of trekking over to the south of France.

If it's only an 'option' for Sky to televise a game, then it's ours, or nothing. Hard to 'gauge' how Toulouse might be performing if they were in our league.

Understand your cost and fans concerns but assuming they'll fly rather than walk

then the travel/time off issues for a full time professional club shouldn't be that much worse than London away.

Toulouse is 4 hours from Manchester, not exactly a Jet Lag problem area, it is different, it shouldn't cause any major problem, it is the luck of the draw and fodder for the serial moaners.

There are no direct flights to Toulouse anywhere other than Bristol or London. It does not however detract from your point which is a valid one.

Last time we got drawn in France, flights were all cancelled, because a volcano erupted. I think that certainly disrupted their plans!

Haven't seen that anywhere as yet. I also think that Wakefield v Sheffield might get the nod for the Saturday TV game. Obviously hoping for ours to be the TV game as travel to Toulouse seems a bit of a nightmare and the costs I have so far come up with are ridiculous. Might have to cost up driving all the way as it can't be any more costly than the flights I have so far found!!

Should be OK by the time we play them, but recent security concerns at toulouse airport could be a nightmare. However not a great fixture for centurions IMO.

Ryanir fly into Carcassonne from both Manchester & Liverpool. It's only a 1 hour drive from Toulouse.

The best route seems to be direct from Gatwick (Easyjet) £153.00 return and the cheapest if you take the train to Euston £80 return then train to Gatwick from St Pancras. £30 return.

Eurostar route from Mamcheser looks like a nightmare and very pricey..

Seems to be a very difficult place to get too both travel and price wise.

Ryanair don't fly back until Monday. I would fly to Barcelona Sat morning cheap car from rental cars and 4 hr drive through Andorra stocking up on ciggies and filling the tank on cheap petrol

Dont forget this season they are playing at Stade Ernest Argeles which is a Union club near the airport as Minimes is being redeveloped
