Guys reality check, would Beswick or Penky get into the Warrington side? Higham is imo one of the top 5 hookers in SL, he will be at Wire again next season

I agree with wolrab - for me Mick Higham would be a waste of money when we have Beswick and Penky insitu.

Just because we have 2 good hookers doesn't mean If someone better is on offer we shouldn't get them. We constantly bought props in the last 12 months who have all gone on to play vital roles in our best ever season. If Mickey is coming home it's a fantastic signing

Very much doubt Mickey is one of our signings. Derek confirmed last night contracts signed and confirmed on 3 with a fourth very close. The three confirmed are a championship player, an overseas player and a young super league player. The other that isn't confirmed yet is a young super league player on loan. Without being disrespectful to Mickey he doesn't fit the young category. We are also signing 1 pivot and with 3 hookers already, beswick, penky and foster the pivot will be a half-back.

O'Brien signed for Bradford then Smith wanted him back. Bradford have allowed it and torn up his freshly signed contract so I would say that is unlikely.
