Well, going into the final week of the regular season, the play offs are almost upon us.

Looking at the latest league standings - and with one eye on the final round of fixtures - I can see the first set of matches being as follows:-

Top 4

Leigh v Fax
Fev v Donny

Places 5 to 8

Eagles v Haven
Dews v Worky

Ok, there may well be turn ups in the last lot of games but I'll go for the above.

Sheffield are running into some good form, at just the right time - especially if they play away in the play-offs!

Agree with that.I Wouldn't be surprised if it's Leyth v Sheff int Final With a Leyth Win.

Batley are at Donny too next week haven are at lsv v swinton

They are it seems, Alan ! They are looking to play it at Bawtry instead of Owlerton according to the Eagles fans. Very crafty !

Deffo Leyth v Donny and Fev v Fax, there's no way Fax will lose at home to barrow next week. Sheffield are on a roll and I can see us playing them at Leyth in the semi

Dons only need a bonus point next week to finish 3rd so us v Fax is pretty much nailed on.

Just realised that BBC haven't given Donny their points back so ill backtrack and go for Leyth v fax and Fev v Donny unless its Donny v Fev!

Crikey!! Even Donny can finish second.

Think we'll be playing Fax in the playoffs although with Batley fighting for survival they could pull an upset. Think the most probable upset (still unlikely) though is Keighley beating Fev! We saw ourselves how tough they can be at Cougar Park. We know Fax & Fev won't be going full time next year if they finish 2nd, anyone heard Donny's plans?

Does anyone have an indication of when our game might be played? (Friday night, Sunday etc.). Just wondering if I'd missed an announcement or something and would be quite useful to know for booking travel!

They just announced the game yesterday that it was "a date and time to be confirmed" mate.

I dont think Harrison will play him. It will be really risky to do so in my opinion (unless his plan is for 3 or 4 Leigh men to get sent off trying to put him into row Z) !! LOL

Looking at the play-offs , if Fax finish 4th in the League , we would play them at the LSV , if we beat them we would then have a week off ,and play the lowest placed team who win through the Qualifying Games , which would be Fax again at the LSV , if they won their other play-off game , Fax twice
