So Leeds have beat London by 50+ points twice this season, beat Widnes by 30 odd, Wakefield by 50 odd, Bradford by 40, Hull KR, Catalans and Salford by 28.

Yet against Leigh they've only been given a 28point handicap at HOME. It either shows how far Leigh have come in last few years or have the bookies got this one spectacularly wrong? We're good, but surely we aren't that good.

Leeds -28 from a gambling point of view is buying money.

Can anyone recall a time when Rowls hasn't fielded his strongest 17. I know the prize money for first is decent this year but anything less than our strongest 17 on Friday will be a kick in the balls for the fans that go week in, week out.

I would probably wait and try and find out what line up Leeds expect to put out before getting giddy and putting the house on it.

If I were Leigh i would rest some players because you only have to look at Sheffield and Fev in recent seasons and how it affected them playing SL sides to see it might not be worth the risk.

I would play Littler if available rest Tommy Goulden for Wed bring Brown back from Batley and shove him straight in against Leeds any of the forwards who have injurys from Worky I would rest and bring in couple of the Reserve team Ostick ect

A solid performance by us would lend some much needed credibility to the championship division, not only that it would give our Superleague aspirations a real shot in the arm.

Credibility does not allow you to go full time. £500,000 does. Any other season then fine but this season is the most important for many a year. I will not be disappointed if the team is changed.

Well the idea that we might lose a league game if we have a hard game on Friday would not be the end of our season would it ? We have a very good squad with a lot of strength in depth and I am sure we are good enough to finish top of the Championship this season.

We have played all the top few teams away already' apart from Doncaster.

A bit less strength in depth than we had though with Littler and Aspinwall missing for at least a month. I know the reasons that have been given for these loan moves but I have a little question mark as to why this week and not after the Fax game for example

We can afford to lose a league game or two. I'd still fancy us on the Wednesday afterwards anyway.

Based upon last years champs results and our current Points difference we could probably lose 4 games and still finish top.

Field a weakened team on Friday and get mauled on live TV could cost us some supporters. Don't forget that for some folks, Friday night will be the first time they've seen this years squad in action.

Whatever is on display could well sway a 50/50 supporter in either direction.

For me I couldn't care what the result is, and whilst I think it's a bit poop that we have 3 games in 9 days, I still think we'll beat fax and barrow...

Just consider this scenario...both Ridy and Ryan get injured badly and are out for the season. How many will we win/lose then. Can anyone guarantee this won't happen.......yep there is actually.

Any other season I would, like everyone apparently, prefer our strongest team. IMO there is too much at stake.

Your opinion is valid, just different and pessimistic. The two half backs could get injured in any game.

I could understand if we were in 3rd or fourth place but were 7oimts clear of 2nd and 10 of 3rd

Ok to keep on the pessimistic trail. 7 points can be overhauled in three bad weeks or by 2 weeks on Sunday. Still 13 games to go.

Now though I will counter that argument in that I suppose all other challengers will be taking points off each other. The point though is no one knows what will happen. What I do know is there are always repercussions on this board when a decision goes wrong.
