, we only have one pack on the field , and my first choice would be ,Spencer , Beswick , Barlow ,Goulden ,Wilkes , Aspinwall , with Acton , Penky , Finnegan , Thorniley , on the bench , I know some folk will have their own ideas and opinions that's their choice , this is mine .

Would fancy our chances in the forwards against anyone with that line up! Smash them, tire them and then bring Penky on to run riot.

I remember a few years back when Leigh used to have the best pack at this level, in comparison that pack looks distinctively average imo. I certainly wouldnt expect it to get on top of Sheffield`s, Fevs or Fax`s. On paper counts for nothing though.

Our beat up pack in August bossed fax the options and size should provide a wave of intensity that will create space out wide that we can convert with some added pace to come in

Greg florimos boots oh do behave. The options and depth in that pack are well above average, and far better than what fax will have next year. Fev always big and physical up front, sheff pack plays as well as stringer plays. The pack leigh will have next year will rarely be bettered I feel.

Our pack is bigger than your pack Greg.

I know there are plenty of easy bites on here, but that's a seriously poor trolling effort!

That is easily the best pack we have had since we move to the LSV. Just don't pass it out the backs or we're screwed.

Only time will tell.



In all seriousness though there is only Penky who I would take from those line ups over anyone in our pack. I doubt we will trouble the top 2 by the end of the season just the same as I dont think Leigh will either. I expect Fax, Leigh and Batley to be competing for the places behind Sheffield and Fev although Dewsbury look to be putting together a decent team but i doubt they will have enough strength in depth if they pick up injuries.

A few players are starting to come available from SL as well so teams holding back on spending their budgets, like Fax have done, could pick up 1 or 2 surprise signings.

Trust me the back line will be equally impressive

how come ? only two sides playing are wigan and warrington and your signings arnt from there are they ?

Players contracts often run to November, don't they? So contractual obligations may prevent announcements.

You couldnt leave Ostick out of any starting line up after his perfomances this season

Maybe you would volunteer to try and stop Tom Armstrong going full belt, after he has got the ball from a rollicking run and offload from one of our now very strong and mobile pack members.

Agreed, Ostick has had a brilliant season. Really impressed me and think he will be a key part of a monstrous pack this season!

He was my second choice for Player of the Year after Goulden.

Well I think all of last seasons squad has been retained apart from the traiterous Big Sam who I foolishly voted for



I did cos I think he is an International player soon and I knocked him out once at Duffs testimonial poker night.
