Must have missed it,but have we announced we have ended our partnership/twining/feeder club status with wigan warriors rugby league club for next season?????

Have read the various links but seem to be missing the words we have ended the agreement??

Could anyone please direct me to the statement

It seems clear to me.
It also seems clear that some thought went into the professional way that statement was worded so that no negative inference could be generated from it for ourselves our Wigan.

Well I am of the same opinion as Leyther Matt on the dual reg thread.

We most be releasing 2/3 of the under 20 s then as there's two thirds of which were from wigan including Bullock

All I do is ask for a simple statement and the usual heros appear saying I'm having a pop for daring to ask a question which for some reason they don't want to announce we have ended our feeder club status,seems odd to me???

Looking forward to next season should be fun having something to play for and not waiting to see who wigan allow us to play

I'm was right about last years under 20 s though there was an awful lot from Wigan . What's happened to them lads? have we released them and who have we signed up to play in our reserves ?
We are allowed to name them I'd have thought, or are we still looking if we are go down to Leigh East there's a young Hooker who's an England player playing !!!!!!

Players are selected by the coach, then signed by the Director tasked with that job. I am in charge of looking after Charlie

I am going to have to correct you here Lynda... the 20s used 42 players last year. Only 3 were contracted Wigan players so not sure where the releasing of 2/3 of the squad came from.

Indeed we had a few lads from the St Helens area coming in and all did well with the lads that moved up from last term's under-18s.

I look forward to seeing the development of Matty Pendlebury, Mitch Cox and co and seeing how they go on next season.

Matty finished this term attending first team training so I feel the coaching staff have him earmarked as indeed Joe Bullock and Anthony Bate were.

Out of interest the 3 players that were on Wigans books were: Joe Bullock (14 games), Andrew Cunningham (19 games - ever-present) and Matty Crow (3 games).

The person who told me was of the parents of one of the Wigan lads, not sure why she said that if not true!

Believe them then Lynda but as Dave has been unofficial match day secretary stats man, cameraman and commentator all season (not all at once I may add) and seen 99% of their games, Im even sure he could provide a list of players who have played for them as again 99% of their games are here on DVD.
We had a hooker in that side called Aaron Lloyd who in all honesty would walk into any Championship 1 and most Championship sides but couldnt get a chance because of Penky and BB. He too is a nice lad from a nice family his Dad I now consider a friend, Paul Rowley also rates him but he lacks size which is unfortunate as he is a good player, ex StHelens Academy.
