i have watched the video over and over again and i cant honestly see any contact, it looks like Mcnally is trying to get round Campbell to get to the ref.

Campbell goes down like he has been picked off by a sniper and should be embarrassed the big tart!

you are quite correct the panel make the decision on the home team footage 'cause that's the only one they have the 'defence' can call other 'evidence' i.e. the away team footage if it shows an alleged incident clearer.

There's nowt on our DVD although Batley believe they have something on theirs so I suppose we'll all find out soon enough. Should 'the cat' McNally serve a ban Kes will slot in well at FB but I just hope firing off Nico & Coyle doesn't come back to bite us on the backside.

The fact is though, that the Match Review Panel has recommended he be charged with an offence that carries a 2/3 game ban. So presumably they have managed to see something on Batley's DVD. Unless the club is supremely confident that Gregg will get off, we could end up losing him for the entire play-off series!

Look at the reaction of the Batley fans behind the posts after Campbell had scored. They are hardly annoyed at the so called incident.

Having now watched the match (thanks Fred) I can't actually see McNally do anything - certainly nothing worthy of Campbell's reaction!

As a matter of interest, that try came from Penky's panicky pass when he sees the ref signal five tackles. Count them - there are definitely only four.

I can now understand PR's comments about certain decisions not going our way - and I left Batley thinking the ref had a really good game!

Have none of the posters on here seen the footage ? It was a disgusting attack and anyone trying to make light of it should take a long look at themselves.

We all watch with bias, although that's as bad as anything I've seen and if a full 'Super' League camera crew had covered it he'd be in much more trouble.

The Leigh DVD shows McNally running to argue with the ref, who definitely made a mistake - wrongly signalling five tackles (when there had only been four) causing Penky's awful offload. As Campbell gets up, McNally rushes past him, and does not appear to move his arm. McNally is focussing on the ref, and actually appears to swerve away from Campbell, who goes down like a Premiership footballer. The Leigh DVD, which is crystal clear, doesn't show contact. That doesn't mean there is no contact, but it does mean that none is shown.

With respect to the Batley poster I doubt he will post a link to the Batley footage because it will show the same as ours ie nothing to warrant any disciplinary action by the RFL.

Re the Penky offload I am sure he knows that sometimes you have to take the tackle.

Sometimes he does daft passes too but one thing is for sure we would not have won the NRC Final without him.

Penky clearly looks at the ref, who did signal five. Penky, like me, thought there was still one left!

Unfortunately penky is not the ref, and you play by what the ref says, if he says 5th tackle its 5th tackle. Good to see rowley agreeing despite some dodgy calls we did not deserve to win the game.

That's my opinion too.

I was just putting forward an instance of 'cause and effect'. If the ref had got the tackle count right, Penky may not have attempted the awful offload, Walton may not have read it, Campbell may not have scored, McNally may not have rushed past him to the ref, contact may/may not have occurred, Campbell may not have reacted in the way he did.........................................................!!
