| Gone playing golf - even in the rain - than staying in watching that game. Possibly the worst cup final I have ever seen.

| Did anyone else notice how fast the grass grew (T'was quite a highlight of the match )
I did try to concentrate on the paint drying but even with HD it didn't lift the excitement as I would have hoped. Congrats must go to Wigan for knowing how to catch a ball and I must admit that Hull were very lucky to score nil. ( They didn't even deserve zero )

Well, there you go Charlie. Didn't I tell you that Spencer's heart lies in Wiggin?? He ain't a Leyther and never will be, but you Plastic Wigginers will be happy. I bet you were cheering on that other great Leigh prop, Scott Taylor. I have no doubt that ALAN will be leading you in a chorus of "WE LOVE WIGGIN" when you all go along to watch the Wiggin Trophy Parade.
Could you ever imagine Saints fans cheering Wiggin on, or City fans cheering United, or Rangers fans cheering Celtic. ALAN and his Mottley crew of Plastic Wigginers will be happy though. You should all hang your heads in shame, the lot of you Wiggin Lovers.
That was the most boring Cup Final I have ever seen in my life. What a terrible advert for this Great Game of Rugby League.

John , PIES , as you well know Charlie was a big fan of Sir Henry Cecil , before he sadly passed away , however im still backing his horses trained by his wife Lady Cecil , she had a 33-1 winner yesterday , Charlie had a £5 on it , and I told Charlie Jnr to back Tiger Cliff in the Ebor at York for Lady Cecil , it won at 5-1 , PIES .

You really do live a sad life, as far as I'm concerned Leigh are better off without fans like you, the only plastic fan on here is you,

As Michael Winner used to say "Calm Down ", WYSI ,as for Saints Fans cheering Wigan on , look on the Wigan Forum , a Saints Fan has posted his congratulations , I didn't know Alan was in Mottley Crew , never mind being a singer .
As for being a boring Final they all cant be Classics , you are to young to remember our 71 Final , a Classic to all Leigh Fans , but that's all , im sure Wiganers enjoyed todays game and result .
As for me being being a Plastic Wiganer ?I suppose you mean because I don't go to watch them , but don't mind then winning , that must make YOU , A PLASTIC LEYTHER , if the Cap fits WEAR IT . Charlie knows .

Matt as you know I don't miss many Leigh games home or away , so I have seen some bad games over the 50 odd years ive been watching them , but no matter how bad they are , if your Team wins its Happy Days , now you also KNOW im no Wiganer , Mrs Caroli might be , but im a LEYTHER , and NOT Plastic either , I would much sooner Wigan win than Hull , they are nowt to us either .
Charlie is walking over red hot coals next week in bare feet it was either that or watch Hibs , NO CONTEST .

You watched it and you have the effrontery to call people 'Plastic Wigginers'? I couldn't raise the enthusiasm to watch - had other things to do - but you, well you're really something else! Methinks it's you who is the 'Plastic Wigginer'!!
By the way, thanks for putting me in capital letters - makes me feel right important, that does!

| I for one was pulling for Hull, but they created all their own problems. Game breaker for me was when the Hull full back (who's name escapes me), was ran down by Charnley, and in my opinion that was a knock on when he knocked the ball out of his hands. It should have been head and feed to Hull but I'm sure they'd have dropped it anyway lol.

JC ,I haven't watched the game between Storm v Eels ,but I have seen a fair few Aussie games on Premier Sports this season , and Classics they most definitely weren't , I always say one mans rubbish is another mans treasure , its just a matter of opinion ,yesterdays Cup Final was far from being a Classic to be honest , I interchanged with the Horseracing , but it takes 2 teams to make a Good game , for me Hull didn't turn up .
As for Wigan , they did what they had to do , and WON the Cup , im sure their Fans will have enjoyed the Game and the Result more so , as I would have done if it had been Leigh playing , I think its great for Wigan to win BOTH the FA Cup , and now Challenge Cup , in the same year , I know many Wigan fans from both Teams , and know what it meant to them .My owd Dad used to say "Choose your Team wisely , as you only ever Support one Team in your Life ", I chose Leigh ,and never regretted it , but I still wanted to Wigan to beat Hull , they are nowt to me .

I was in the Hull end and re that incident the Hull player just ran out of steam sadly' but I thought it was a loose carry and so thought ref was right. My Leyther mate at the side of me agreed voiciferously with you though Kevster.
We cheered for Hull FC all the game but they just dropped too much ball.

Personally I like to see a good high scoring game when im a neutral , plenty of good tries scored , but not very good if you like watching defences on top and good hard tackling , im sure the Melbourne fans loved it , but I bet the Eels fans thought it was a shocker .
I have spoke to a couple of Wigan fans who obviously enjoyed yesterdays game , so it did please some fans and just Maybe , we will see a Cup Winner in a Leigh shirt next season you never know , Charlie has been told .

So, let me get this straight..........they are two of the best soccer teams there are???

| Been watching RL since 1950 and that Cup Final was worst game I've ever seen! Pies maybe average, but Hull absolutely Kerrigan. (and I was at Wembley in 85)
