Ben Davies and Steve Nash released by Castleford. Two 24 year old props. Ben Davies signed by Fax for rest of season. Steve Nash expected to sign for Dewsbury, where he has been playing on loan. I know Steve Nash loved playing at Leigh and both props would be a welcome addition at Leigh. All good teams are built on a big pack of forwards. Should be signed up at Leigh.

Davies seems to be on a horrendous run of luck with injuries. Won't be long until Halifax are renamed Leigh East B.

Nash had an excellent season with Leigh, that's why he was snapped up by Cas. I remember Richard Moore always being criticised, even when he always took four players out of the game before getting his pass out. Riddy has been criticised ever since he started playing for Leigh , even though he is a natural stand-off, and guided Leigh around the park in the NRC final.

Nash and Davies should be signed up by Leigh now that Hopkins has been promoted to the first team.

Why sign players like Nash when we have forwards at this present time much better than Nash..But I guess you would,nt know that Graham because you can't be d supporting the lads these days.The set of forwards currently playing at Leigh are among the best I've seen for a number of years they play for each other always give 100% and play with heart & soul always putting their bodies on the line for the Centurions time and time again take young Bate played a couple of games in the first team this year Paul Rowley picks him for the final Sat and he was along with all the other lads outstanding Either get back supporting the lads who deserve all the support they can from the RL fans in the Leigh & District or stop wasting your time posting ..I agree about Ben Davis being a local plonk loner I'm sure the Leigh coaching staff would bring out the best in Ben maybe next season

Nash was class first time around, no question. Don't forget he came back on loan and looked completely disinterested.

I will post whenever I feel like it so get used to it. Nash and Davies would be excellent additions to the forward pack. Nash loved playing at Leigh and was a brilliant partner to Chris Hill. He tackled his heart out, took the ball in hard and got the ball out. He even played for our Corporate Cup team but he couldn't kick goals, like Frank, otherwise we could have gone all the way. You know the reasons I don't attend anymore and until I hear that the merger is over I will stand by my principles. That doesn't mean I have stopped supporting Leigh, it just means I don't support a Leigh/Wigan club and I don't attend any matches.

Tom Spencer on a permanent deal would offer so much more than both of them IMO:

agree about Nash 2nd time round....very poor, compared to his 1st stint at the club.

I d love to see us sign Spencer.

Charlie wouldn't want Nah , I don't rate the bloke , we have much better players in the team already , as for Davies ?I know hes a Leigh lad , but he always seems to find another club to sign for , just like Bracek , from Fax , my question is did we want to sign them or even did they ever want to sign for us ?WYSIWYG , take Ron and Reg for walks on Sunday afternoons .
