As on SKY sports site its not been put up yet which games are on and Im told theres a meeting this morning at Leigh to decide, so where has this come from?

People are assuming the Leigh v Leeds game is schedulded for the Friday but it wouldnt suprise me if they gave us the Sunday at 5.30 pm slot. Before we all get Cup Fever there are those who have forgotten that we have an important game THIS Sunday against Sheffield for a vital three points so we should concentrate on that first.

The Sunday 5.30pm slot has already been confirmed as the Huddersfield game as they're unlikely to be able to use the Galpharm due to Huddersfield Town potentially having a play off game at 12.15pm on Saturday. With Wigan-Saints likely to have the Saturday afternoon slot, Friday night is by far the best option.

That's why i was asking yesterday was it a fact Lynda, hope it is i have built my hopes up now.

Leigh or Bolton in the running to host the Wiggin match and Leigh game on the Friday night according to today's WEP.

If it's pies/saints at the LSV on Sat and the roadworks are still on, we can all stay on the carpark after our game and go watching that as well

So much for all the definite posts then. Though they will probably be right in the long run. Maybe they will decide to not bother televising our game despite what has been stated about all 4 being on TV.

My definite post was stated in good faith, as I had read it yesterday evening that our game was definitely fri at 8 and also spoken to someone who assured me it was then. I have read the same again in the WEP today. It is clearly stated that our game is to be on the FRI at 8.

Well Ive just spoke with someone from the club, and he told me its not been decided but it could be Friday or Saturday evening. They will know later today.

Not bothered one way or the other to be honest, but I said it was Fri because of what I had heard and read. I genuinely believed it was confirmed. Oh well. Que sera sera. Who knows what is true in this game of ours?

I'm sure there will be a release from the club as soon as the KO time is confirmed.

The club have been very timely getting these messages out recently, so I've no doubt that we will know shortly after the club do.

Why did the RFL in their wisdom have the quarter final of the challenge cup the same weekend as the last matches of the Football season.
I beleive Huddersfield have the same problem, as if Huddersfield Town win their playoff game this weekend the semi final is down for the sat 12th may at 12.30, so the RFL have a right pickle on their hands.

Curiously the RFL has now removed from its website, the details of the two BBC games. They also announced, as soon as the draw was made, that details of the televised ties would be announced "within 24 hours."

They probably assume that making the arrangements for games like this, take about as long as it does to draw the eight balls out of a bag!

Seriously, the club had received a number of enquiries about tickets (including from Leeds who quite fancy having time to sell some!) and hospitality, within a couple of hours of the draw. It would be great to be allowed time to capitalise on this game.

LOL, of course, it's the club and RFLs fault that people jump the gun.

they knew that Wigan and Huddersfield had made the quarters and they knew there was a chance either so both could get a home draw and it would cause problems if they were Football games that weekend, so why didnt they wait till the following weekend to play this round????

Change the dates to the week after as I cannot see them sorting this out - RFL, Lenagan and Whelan (dumb, dumb and dumber)

As soon as Wigan got through to the QF it was obvious they had a 50/50 chance of getting a home game and also that the BBC would want to show their game, so does anyone think it's rather comical that they hadn't made provisions for this - just in case.

Well when you have Lenagan (Eric Polard lookalike) and Whelan organisaing things anythings possible from dumb and dumber!!!!

Whelans not organising anything rugby related anymore is he. He just says when they can't play

Its a shambles of orgnaisation and fans will get peeved off. If this is not sorted out soon it doesnt look good at all.
