The idea of a club is to create a sense of ownership, belonging and pride for people of similar passion/interest to meet at on a regular basis. If you agree with this how does the TC meet those emotions?

Our club has a very passionate core fan base, LISA is testament to that being much bigger than most SL club equivalents, these fans are the income generators and imo seem to be taken for granted/ignored yet again by a club who professes to want to build a community club with stakeholder ownership.

Our move to the LSV was a disaster, fans feeling ripped off and not part of their club anymore. Last season started to create something again, build on that with what we have - make people feel valued and a part of the scrap that lies ahead.

LISA aren't being ignored, we will get exactly the same as the TOUCHDOWN CLUB for the money we put in and Trevor said at our meeting he would back date it two year IIRC

Yes Sex it was a bit of a pi$$ take I had this vision of Trevor B in a Jeremy Kyle mode announcing DNA tests at the next fans forum.

That would be a very interesting show in Platt Waz.

Sorry Dick my grammar wasn't great there, meant fans not LISA organisation. My post praised LISA as punching above its weight, but attempted to make the point that fans are in LISA because they are passionate about the club and its future, and it would be the same fans who would join the TC scheme etc

I like many other usually get the season ticket as a christmas present off the missus, is there a way to just purchse the season ticket on its own? From the quote below it says it is still available or am i reading into it wrong?

Season tickets can still be bought, via the usual channels on their own, ie not being part of the TOUCHDOWN CLUB PACKAGES

The Touchdown Club was initially set up for fans to join and by giving that bit extra for a season ticket they would be helping the Sporting Club Leigh financially and would feel proud in going that extra mile to help the club become self sufficient. There really should be details on the club website. I suspect they are still adding items to the ticket range (e.g. family tickets) However, in their absence, contact the ticket office and they'll be delighted to answer your questions. (and take your money off you, of course!

This is a genuine question if someone was to buy into the bronze touchdown package and pay 6 months and then lose their job and have to cancel how would that be sorted out? It could actually happen.

With the club being taken to the verge of liquidation last season by its Board of directors and the fans now being asked to pay to get the club out of its debts who will be running the club in the future? Hopefully not any of the previous share holders or directors.
