another point i meant to make, people travelling to blackpool will porbably be travelling via northern rail, i wonder if the rfl and the sponsors thought of doing some sort of discount on your fare if you had a final ticket. just a idea

Nothing direct from Train Station.
Out of entrance turn right (You can't really go left !), before pedestrian Tunnel (200yds from Station - across the pedestrian crossing)head Left up the walkway and cross road at Traffic Lights heading right (if unsure follow signs for Town Centre).
Blackpool Transport 5,7,11 from off Talbot Road (adjacent to Old bus station,now a carpark but stops outside it) & Stagecoach 68 from Cookson St for 68.
5 (Destination Halfway House) & 7 (Destination Lytham / Saltcoates Rd) go down Central drive to the ground , get off at the stop near Bloomfield Rd.
11 (Destination St Annes) & 68 (Destination Preston)goes via Lytham Rd , get off at stop near Bloomfield rd, circa 5min slow walk from each.
