I use the Travelodge hotels a lot with work, and for anyone thinking of going to the one in Blackpool, I would recommend booking it asap. Like the budget airlines, they change the cost of rooms depending on demand, so if you leave it until the last minute, you'll probably find you'll end up paying quite a bit more..

just booked for us £69 for a room south shore one

It was £69 when I looked this morning, so must be booking up fast

yeah thats how much i paid, got a familly room as i dont want to share a bed with my dad

Must be a few 'Fax fans as well as it cost a tenner more when I booked on Thursday evening compared to when I'd looked earlier that day!

Booked a family room in the travelodge Sat and Sun night for £105. Got tickets for the game in the South Stand.

travel : train from athy to bpool sat early afternoon back mon afternoon

stand : block v near the riff raff at the back



clothes : centurion helmet, red uk flag , some temp leigh centurion tattoos when i make em, leigh top

Going on the saturday

now the south stand, which one is that, is that behind the goals, as i prefer to sit on the side, can see game better, does anybody know which stand is on the side.

It is the West stand the side stand that Leigh fans have been given parts of along with the South Stand behind the sticks.

Correct the touchline stand is the West. Hope there will be people helping to spread the atmosphere in there as well as the South!

go in the south stand and have a party with us

me and the misses are going down on Saturday night,

travel down in the car, spending night in hotel near Preston (only 20 miles from the ground for £29!!! premier inn)


then drive to the stadium, few bevvies while there lol
get behind the lads in the south stand sing our hearts out

i typed in the blackpool stadium postcode and then i think its on the 2nd page. 23.4 miles from the stadium in preston..
its the fixed price one £29

We have a coach going down Saturday, at 10am in the morning, its coming back after the game, on Sunday.
Theres still places on it as yet.
