A fantastic draw for Leigh.
A big club at home that isn't exactly ripping up trees this season (or last) and a completley one sided biased home support to make it as uncomfortable as possible for the French team.
All stops need to be pulled out to try and fill the LSV up as much as possible and send out a positive statement that as a club we are improving on & off the field.

Au contraire Fred, Batley gave Catalans a hell of a fright last year and I reckon we'll make more money (or lose less, at least) playing Catalans with the majority all paying in addition to the RFL levy rather than having 4,000 Wiganers getting in for free.

Very pleased with the draw, though a bit of a kick that Widnes and Wigan were both drawn either side of our game!

Batley Bulldogs 12-74 Catalans Dragons not much of a fright that mate

It was pretty competitive for the first hour but Batley fell away in the last 20 minutes when the Dragons were playing down the slope and they scored a hatful late on.

and thats the problem we lost money in the last round we cant keep losing money time after time or we will be bust batley made sod all last year and got a good kicking in the process it wasn't close at all, we could have made more money if we had drawn Swinton, a terrible draw for Leigh's finances, good for me as I will get to see (hopefully) Steve Menzies, but all in all a distraction for the season.

Matt there is nobody who pushes our club more than me but this is reality.

all i will say is nobody gave us a chance when we played Salford and look what happened there!! if they have an off day and we play to our best we have a chance. All rests on how much Catalan are up for it and if they underestimate us. On paper its a Catalan win all day but paper means nothing
