I know everyone won't feel the same as me but I find myself really wanting the Pies to get to and win the grand final. If it is a Saints vs Wigan or even Warrington vs Wigan final it would be great. But thats just me.

I hope its Saints V wire, Wigan V Leeds semi with a Wigan V Wire final not that bothered who wins if this is the case. (in other words i dont want saints or leeds to win)

Tomkins made two seperate moves, he put one hand on the ball and grounded it then used both hands to pick it up.

I bet you never see it again though for what its worth i thought ref was wrong

I have to say that even the slowmo showed that he just picked the ball up and if that is a rule then we really need to sort out the forward pass and playing the ball after a tackle before making such a ridiculous one up.

Correct ruling - but maybe the rule needs to be re-visited and "tightened up".

You cant have it both ways i.e. if there was a rampaging Hull KR player any where nearby and he did not pick he ball up and they ran in to score he WOULD have neen claiming that he had grounded the ball first

To be fair since reffing our NRC game at Featherstone (was it last season ?) he is one of the more consistent refs and most TJ's miss forward passes for some reason.

Im a Leyther through and through 100%,and proud of it, but i dont understand all this Anti-Wigan stuff,i know MANY Wiganers,even related to a fair few, and they are great people,i dont hate anybody.

same here Charlie and its not as though we are 'proper' rivals these days, I always 'have a go' at them when I go to my cousins (on my dads side all my mam's are leythers) or my mates wife and son, but its all light hearted, yes they have some gons but then again we have our fair share.

It's mainly banter, I know a few pies myself and they're alright. Wouldn't let them in my house mind.
