Yep, the catering at LSV is awful. The staff can't be bothered. We should sell Lobby, everyone would buy it. Decent beer, even at stadium prices you don't mind, but it's toilet water, served by incompetant staff at £3 a pop.

I bought a Baseball Bat Dog tried to take a bite it was so hard i told her no way was i paying for it and i got a burger instead, its pathetic at least beer din't run out when i was being served for the first time this season! how did the old song go? sh*t ground no fans! crap food crap team! Joy! am slowing falling out of love with everything to do with the club and anyone who knows me will know thats pretty serious!

Could be worse.At least we are Leythers and not Salford fans.

Yesterday was dire but we will/should still end up fourth which is a lot better than anyone expected before the season kicked off.

Time to show we are Leythers and get behind our team. Pretend it is 1940 and our next game is against a French side.

Regarding the food and the beer at the LSV it will not get better if people continue buying it.

The ONLY way things will change is when instead of moaning ...........

.........people wake up to the fact that NOT eating/drinking expensive poor quality food for 2 hours of their life will not result in them requiring medical treatment for the next week !

( although eating/drinking it might well do ! )

I have to agree with Matt, had one for the first time yesterday, i was that hungry i had to give in.

Don't buy it and everyone should send an email or letter of complaint to the LSV company. I would love to see a local company doing the catering but is there one who can put in the investment for the equipment and I hazzard a guess that payments terms to the LSV maybe very high. I know one thing it needs sorting because a poor performance on the field and being asked to pay for that crap will drive even more people away.

Had a meal and a drink in the hotel, it was fine, could have been cheaper but the beer was good.

I think your point is valid. Trouble is we have lost twice to Batley and now to Dewsbury. Well even the bookies thought we would win those.

Had we done then this thread would be restricted to its' original posting and we would all be pleased today.

Most of the food and drink is crap but it's the same at a lot of places these days not just at Leigh. I started to have something before the match so perhaps the only thing I buy is a drink (non alcoholic, totally refuse to pay £3 for something I can get for £1.80 in my local).

Last three times I have been to the easts before a game there was either no food being served or none left

I phoned that number Fred and when I said I was a Leyther they offered to buy me a double!!

We always go to the Hotel before the match,prices and quality are not that bad,and very good to see Frank B and Ian C still keeping the faith,you must have taste though Ian C with a name like yours.
