| 1265 today pathetic
Left centre and stand off today which Championship sides coach would pick them ?
MOM who picked him ? Best 13 ? I do not think so.
Duffs to stand off Paul 7 and tell Wire we will play Mitchell when we feel like it.
Barrow next week.Read this Basil' this is not good enough.
The officials today by the way reminded me of two of our players defensive abilities. One he used to be and he still is.The other one never could.

| Cant remember the MOTM being announced.
Crowd dissapointing but, not unexpected, still thought there looked 1500 at least in comparison to previous weeks
Higson was hobbling in training on Tuesday, wish he had been in the 17
Average performance but 2 points and back to winning ways.
Halifax lost and Widnes ran Fev close.
This division is still exciting and there are still many matches to play
Onwards and upwards

| I predicted 1,200 and that's what we got - I think the Batley game knocked the stuffing out of a hell of a lot of people, and although we didn't clash directly with the England game, the anticipated 10 minute rush to the back of a packed pub would have been enough to put a few off.
Sponsors MOM was given to Riddy (correct me if I'm wrong) and although I don't think he was the best player on the field today - Duffy gets that accolade - I certainly thought he linked well with Robbie and showed some very good touches. Great finish for his 'try' as well until the ref cast his mind back to 55 yards previously!
Anyone doubting Nanyn's quality should watch a replay of our first two tries.

| 1265 wasn`t a bad crowd IMO given what was on offer 20 mins after the game ended ( yes it was total dross served up by our overpaid wendyballers ). To think some expected anything other well give your head a shake.......
MOM given to Riddy by BT................ Not a problem on that score....... Duffs played well when on but Riddy put more mins in.

| Don't think anyone could expect any less fromthe attendance after last weeks shambles and although the England game was on just after I think last week certainly did knock the stuffing out of some fans! Who will probably just wait till play off games now! If they do return that is!!

Bollo. Matt' defence he does not have one so why bother ? Mom for me was Armie.
Tell me who would have been your first choice stand off for ANY Championship side this season ?
watch our last game against Batley.
I know he is carrrying an injury but his defence gets no better and talking about dvd's I have no doubt you have watched last weeks dvd.
I have no agenda I know what I see and like you if anyone does not think my posts are mean't with the best of intentions I am sure someon will tell them where I stand.

| Robbie is at stand off and Riddy is at scrum half, isn't he? If such a thing exists these days.
Anyroad, your half backs aren't there to tackle, they should only be involved in defence as a last resort, hence why they're shifted out wide while the big lads do the defensive work.

| Big well done to Matty Blythe though, that was his best game for many weeks.
Our last 20 minutes was poor.
Keighley threw the ball about and I like the look of that little winger Duffy, he certainly never gives in! I also thought our own Duffy was influential and do agree with Frank about Armie, he's playing very well currently.
Big Mick had some good touches and certainly in my eyes Riddy wasn't quite as Frank makes out.

you really shouldnt post after drinking frank
this post has to be one of your worst.
are you suggesting Nanyn had a bad game? he made donlon and alsteads tries in the first half and did a hell of a lot of defensive work.
Duffy is the best hooker at the club so why move him?

| Who expected a crowd of anything more? Today was the true Leigh RL diehards.
I thought we played well attacking wise in patches although Keighley's defence was very poor. Our own defence was poor too at times.
I thought our best were Nanyn, the two tries he set up got us out of a hole and set us on our way, both top quality pieces of skill.
I can't disagree with Ridyard getting MOM, very dangerous in attack and look like our biggest threat, Duffy was impressive too. Still improvements to make ahead of next week's game at Barrow but we haven shown improvement this week with a convincing victory.

Frank! When you left Leigh, after we had quite a few 'scoops', you told me not to post when I got home - then you go and break your own rule!

| Even if folk don't like Ridyard he is the best we have at the club and much improved on last season. Duffy must stay at nine because that is where he is most effective and we missed him a great deal last week against Batley. Nanyn was good in attack today and his defence was solid in the first half. 1,200 was poor but how many of the missing 800 wished they hadn't have bothered with the football?
We are still second going into July, with loads to play for. Let's get behind the lads raise loads of money for the walk, buy a new player/two and have a go at making the GF. It could be worse, we could be as bad as the England soccer team or last season

| Thought Blythe went pretty well, big improvement on recent weeks but I had a hunch that he could be at fault for their first try as he appeared to leave Maden a bit exposed - could be wrong though as I've not seen the replay.

Frank me owd mate, simmer down,it wasnt that bad,OK not a classic, ive seen worse ,we WON,thats the main thing,i saw Nanyn shouting for the ballout wide, and agree he should see more of it,their winger was a Midget, compared to Nanyn, who would have blasted him, stilldont get downhearted, the lads MUST AND WILL improve next week a Barrow,I HOPE.
