The hairs on the back of my neck are standing up and I'm tingling. Thats some last letter to the fans. I even think there's a tear there. Having read that (and I hope it's not bull) my respect for Ian has increased ten fold. My thoughts on PR have changed too now. If only the club could have told us those things in news letters like this instead of people on here telling us when we dont know who they are. Ian WAtson you have been a star for us and I hope this club can repay you some how for your services and total commitment to us. Have a fantastic time a Swinton.

I personally never ever doubted paul rowley's committment to our great club, just his coaching abaility, all us as fans can go of is the results on the pitch, watto your a legend.

Rowls & Watto should book a room in Park Inn.

Yes it is interesting to think about why Watto felt he wanted to make such a clear statement about Rowley - pretty unusual in my book. Doesnt seem to reflect well on Neil Kelly. Also makes it sound like it was not his decision to leave Leigh - is that true?

looks like mates sticking together!! shame we dont hear the views of the other players to have a fair comparison.

Sounds to me like they've just become very close.

All this sniping and rumour-mongering about Kelly is getting to be a bit much given he was never given the chance to finish what he started.

How many times did we concede 50 or 70 points on Kelly's watch? Where were we in the table when 'Rowls' took over? What was our For and Against before and after he took over? Would make interesting reading.

Looking forward to seeing whether and how the Rowleys will now try to undermine the Millward, the latest arrival in Leigh's ever expanding fleet of coaches.

I think Watto did comment about the young players coming through which is surely testament to Neil as well. In such a tight competition, a couple of runs of losses can make all the difference and Leigh suffered two during the season, but the lack of dedicated gym facilities must have made things difficult for both coaches.
